  1. Interesting about players pulling out of friendlies with 'injuries' Story from mourinho that Phil Jones was given six injections into his thigh before the Brazil game and still aggravated the injury. I know he's red, but its no wonder clubs are wary if that is the treatment their players are risking. It was a friendly and he's not new to international football so it was unnecessary to play him.
  2. Perhaps he felt he could make last orders- still time for a straightener.
  3. Hope they set up a squat in the landlords back garden and play games there. Sounds a right twat.
  4. Bang on. Recalled a keeper who's not played a test for seven years, and isn't doing the job at his club apparently.
  5. Bunch of nuns waiting to have their photograph taken. One says "is he going to focus" Another replies "oh I do hope so"
  6. Excellent idea. I'm sure there's a few witless septics would still pay good money for that. Add to your Fistmaster empire with the "cockmaster" range of body part trophies
  7. Excellent. Too many warm winters recently. Need some cold for the benefit of a number of plants and animals.
  8. Two nuns in the bath. One says "where's the soap?" The other says "Yes it certainly does"
  9. Lovely morning today. Just need a few more genuinely cold nights/days and some frost.
  10. Surely the interests of protecting elephants are more easily achieved through tourism, people wanting to see them in the wild.
  11. John Terryrist
  12. Kerby- used to enjoy that. Some kids used to do it outside our house- no probs but it would piss me off when they came for the ball if it came on the garden, as instead of walking round they'd run over my plants to get it.
  13. Correct. Not sure it will affect those already afflicted by alcohol addiction, but I see it as being more about preventing youngsters starting on the rocky road by access to cheap booze; sometimes lower priced than an equal volume of bottled water. We've seen the steady decline in the number of pubs, where at one time youngsters learned to drink amongst people of all ages with a landlord/lady on hand to say enough is enough. We now see folk preloading and pissed before going out. A means of helping publicans with taxation, so that they can compete on a more level playing field should be looked into
  14. Bring it on for me. Get more people learning how to drink responsibly in pubs with older folk. Not hanging around on street corners with kids their own age smashing stuff up. Obviously a bit more complicated, but folk who don't mind a drink or two at home; a nice glass of red for example aren't going to be affected as they'll already be paying more per unit any road.
  15. Unfortunately mine got his coordination from the wife's side of the family. Not football oriented. He's really solid though, even his pe teacher said he could do with realising his own physicality on the pitch! He can mow for Britain though and I'm hoping to get him swinging an axe in a year or two. Any road, how many balls finish up in canals and water bodies only to gradually degrade and get covered with slime. Wilson!
  16. Ace. Mounts for chancellor!
  17. Nob end- is that archetypal Bolton ?
  18. Well you learn something every day. Anyone know why they relaxed the ale ban?
  19. New lane; not far from the rocket site? Saw them up at weekend
  20. Top effort. I'll check that out, thanks.
  21. Interesting stat that. Gomez has looked impressive in these games.
  22. Weird that. Unless there's certain matches whereby police can put some time limits on it? When I was in there were people in shirts and scarves getting served no problem.
  23. Have to keep getting mine of his phone. In fairness he's no where near as addicted to some, but it is a bit sad seeing the amenity grass at the end of the street virtually never played on.
  24. I've posted similar elsewhere. Must be a government initiative to lace the water supply with something that gradually wipes memories, prior to reprogramming
