Shouldve been 5-0. Another day it would've been.

Vic standout for me then Thomasson, ran that midfield.

Onwards and upwards.

Tripe. Vic held it pretty well. Some good little bits of interplay between the strikers, but didn't quite pay off. Vic also ran his bollocks off, continually making runs into the channels, e

How the hell did we not score six today and we couldn’t even score one ourselves. Three points but let’s be honest we just are clueless up top sometimes. Bod did more in ten minutes than Victor in 80.

Did he fuck.

Have to give credit to the new look Burton defence. They had everything - saves from Crocombe, loads of blocked shots, goal line clearances and mixing it up in the middle.

... and scored, for us !

Not negative just fact. We were superb today until we got round their box where we were just awful. If we’re going to make the automatics we need to do much better than today but you dream on if it makes you happy. 😁

Cheer up you miserable ballbag.

We’ve won all 4 Xmas games, absolutely flying and still , STILL, you want to have a pop.

Its fucking mental.

We are 2nd with a game in hand.

A scrappy win in a banana skin of a game against a previous bogey side. It'll do just nicely regardless of how the game played out. I can think of such games in previous promotion campaigns.

Derby blowing a 2-1 lead was a right turn up. Marginally preferable for Posh to win that because we have a game in hand on them, but a draw would have been better.

Cheltenham, Orient, Carlisle coming up. Nine points there would be a massive step but all three sides are showing at least some form.

Also, how can we “do much better than today”

A win is 3 points regardless of performance.

must be something wrong at home. The missus isn’t letting him thumb his winkie in or whatever

Vic fuck me 😂.the bit when he was through first half and managed to tackle himself 🤦‍♂️. Thomason was sublime involved in everything good defensively and  attack

George Thomason just gets better and better

Today was one of Vic's best performances, doing everything Evatt asks him to do

I didn't even realise Stockton was playing until a few minutes from the end

Four out of four over the festive period coming off the back of a couple of poor results - superb

Thought he was bang on in the second half. Held the ball up well.

Really dont know what people expect.

What are Thomason’s win stats ? It is the best way to judge a young player don’t you know😀

George was class again today and his vision is outstanding - that first time cross showed not everybody is on the same wavelength, but he's growing into a very special player.

Vic put in a shift for sure, but George, JDC and JDBs cameo (apart from the pass to Dion) were the best for me.

Thomason is just immense. That £1m offer looks more and more derisory every game he plays!

Another 3 points, totally in control, and there's still little pockets of negativity on here. Staggering.

Fwiw, I thought Vic played well, and did everything Evatt will have asked of him. Happy Monday, gents.

to score when your 1 on 1 with their keeper

Yep, one of his best games for us

I thought Vic had a decent game myself. JDB did too when he came on but Vic was worth his shirt today.

Victor splits opinion .  personally I have seen enough of him week in week out today held the ball up well today at times but is no way a target man  (  no shot on target I think ) you could probably get another 10 strikers in league one to do what he has done for us 3 yard tap ins and laying the ball off 500k

Not the best game but a win is a win

Burton came to frustrate and did to a point but Christ they took time wasting to a new level in the 1st half

Top save by Baxter just before we took the lead.

Cogley mom. We never really looked in any danger of losing the lead bar for that one save they offered nothing

Good 3points onto the next

Comfortable 1-0 that.

Should've been a lot more and always a worry when it's just a one goal lead.

But they never laid a glove on us.

Yet 4 idiots in front of me think he needs to work on his passing

Young George was brilliant, especially 2nd half.

Bid will come.

Anyway what a great reaction to the 2 defeats.

I need a week off football to let the liver recover before Luton.

It's amazing different views on the same match.

Victor played well ,holding the ball causing havoc. Bod impressed again when coming on as an impact player .

Wins headers, puts the foot in .

Their keeper made 4 great saves , plus the ball just wouldn't drop right today.

One of those frustrating days for the forwards , none of whom didn't do alot wrong.

Lady luck not going for them , it could have been 5 at least

PS , 4 wins whilst we have all been stuffing our faces.

Every credit to all the players and staff.

I think you need to realise there’s a difference between opinion and fact.
