Popular Post gonzo Posted May 13 Popular Post Posted May 13 I personally think selling 28,000+ tickets for wembley, 35,000 tickets for Wembley last season, 15,000 season tickets and selling out nearly every away game this season says more than enough thank-you to Football Ventures. Maybe they should all stand up on 28 mins and thank us for our unwavering support and letting them be custodians our life long football team... Quote

Though without FV, we wouldn't be in a position to be selling that number of tickets. It's not so much that they saved us from the brink, but the sterling job they've done since. Many a club has been taken over when in difficult circumstances, but they haven't achieved the level of success on and off the pitch. All that said, the idea of a round of applause is cringe worthy, and a shit idea. Quote
onefinfrandsen Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Might be a better idea if we had a minute’s applause for the lad who passed during the Cheltenham game. Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted May 13 Popular Post Posted May 13 Might be an idea to let's just watch a football match without all this attention seeking bumcbuffery. Quote

Dr Faustus Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I’m grateful we’ve still got a club; however Saturday will be purely about promotion. We can suck whomever off afterwards, but every step of progression is an achievement Quote
Farrelli Posted May 13 Posted May 13 If Oxford score in the 28th minute can we stop applauding? Quote
