  • After, shall we say, rather challenging couple of weeks in my home life that today meant absolutely everything. And I mean everything. Makes me realise why we all do what we do, putting ours

  • I can't abide Evatt, I'm fed up with the club.  But on a day like today the game is an entity in itself, a derby with history and a needle all of its own. Fuck the Blackpool. That's 38 years

  • Just enjoy the last minute winner and beating a local rival you massive fucking dick head.

And what a hit from tommo, chuffed for him. Great scoring record against the club that fucked him off 😁

Not read all the comments, but what about the bloody ref, shocking again.

He clearly hated Charles gave him nothing all day, and gave us virtually nothing. Little cunt!

There was one first half when the centre just ran into back of Charles, no one else arround

Or as one satsuma botty put it. Murders (a) on twitter.

hahaha. Hate these far more than Wigan

seaside seaside seaside

Charles often goes down too easily looking for a foul, means that when they do bring him down the ref doesn't go for it.

Ran his socks off today, and ref was turning a blind eye to absolutely everything

10 cards in a game that wasn't even dirty summed the cunt up

Booked 3 of ours for trivial fouls then one of our lads gets professionally fouled on edge of box and gives free kick but no card… utter shit ref and linesman.

He was poor on the cross for their goal. Fans get nervous when he's taking risks because they've seen it happen where he fucks it up.

As for the game the performance wasn't what you want but we got the win. Tomo came out in the 2nd half like a man possessed and dragged us back into the game good goal but the biggest positive for me he was all over the park challenging and winning the ball and ran himself into the ground.

McAtee has yet to impress me when I've seen him play

I've just watched it again and I think that's harsh.  It was an inch perfect cross and I'm not sure how Santos could have got to it, I thought Baxter should have reacted quicker and got a punch on the cross but basically a great goal from them (helped by us giving them the ball twice in the preceding 20 seconds or so).

Fair point he's cocked up a few times before, not defending him for those occasions but they are few and far between given how much of our play goes through him (rightly or wrongly).

McAtee has impressed me when he's been in attacking positions eg the goals at Crawley and Northampton, but IE isn't going to let a minor thing like him being a striker get in the way of playing him on the half way line.

That goal of Thomasson was something else and he ran his socks off for 67 minutes, what a player, never thought he’d ever hit these heights.

Well I did MK and clearly so did Evatt. Turning down the bid from Bristol was a great decision for me because now he’s adding goals to his game and with both feet I can see much bigger clubs coming in for him, if not in January then in the summer. I’m hoping he doesn’t leave though but if we don’t go up this time I’m afraid he will.

Looked on live viewing right Infront of me that he should've got there 1st as he was in front of the striker. Probably being harsh and I'm very much in the Rico fan club even if he's prone to the occasional balls up

We didn’t turn down the bid - we accepted it.

It was Thomason who refused the move, as was his will because he had a contract.

I’ll judge McAtee when he finally gets to play in his correct position. For me, that is Collins’ understudy in a 5-3-2 formation, which starts with Collins and Charles.

If we go up think he will stay, give him better contract and only premier league team will persuade him to leave.

I don’t think I said the club turned down the bid Steejay, I know it was George himself, I’m just saying that it was a good decision because for me George will go higher than Bristol City

Baxter at fault for me. Should have attacked the ball but was waiting for it to arrive instead and beaten to it. Not seen it back yet, mind.

Missed both our goals

Equaliser cos a couple of chubsters decided they'd come on our row for the 2nd half and they blocked the view of it as they squeezed past. Think they'd swapped ends in ESL, didn't think people still did that, must be a beard thing as they both had em.

Last goal I'd done one as youngest lads feet were wet and cold cos he hadn't listened to the old man and wore his trainers.

Much better 2nd half couldn't have been much worse. Whatever he said to them at half time he needs say that pre match.

We've rarely played well for 90 mins but we're sniffing about still on the periphery and Birmingham showing they're not world beaters there's a bit of hope.

That speedy fast lad at the back for them was impressive for them a right unit too. He'll be not there long if he's theirs.

Off to watch Gladiator 2 now and hopefully those slaves are up for it more than we were in the 1st half today or it'll be a short watch

We fully deserved that, shocking 1st half but fantastic 2nd, Collins should have had at least 2 goals before his winner.

Over the ungodly amount of international break deep thoughts I personally just enjoyed watching us beat a bitter rival.

I'm not going to over analyse anything. Obviously Evatt has got a lot to prove and we have got to show consistency and more big game performances to come.

But 5 points off 2nd with a game in hand.

For me the biggest positive today was seeing us finally come back in a biggish game from behind and to win it.

The players made mistakes but they were all up for it.

Specially mention to Thommo and Schon, quality on the ball but also aggressive and were fighting for everything.

I am especially happy to be back home dry and warm, that was a wet one!

Nephew of Martin Offiah and quicker than he was too, by the looks. On loan from Brighton apparently.

He'd gone down injured and had a very suspect ten minutes afterwards, including their goal

I thought at the time his injury was still affecting him

That first half is possibly the worst half of football I've ever seen.

Does anybody know what happened with the stewards at half time?

Shrewsbury was as bad.
