March 1, 20251 yr Alex Murphy is a bit of a concern. Plays everything at once pace which is usually a step behind what’s required. whether that’s making a pass. Stopping a cross. Making a challenge, the pace of the game and/or the pressure he’s put under is absolutely irrelevant
March 1, 20251 yr Fucking superb defensive display from Forrester and Johnston. Tutu needs to put a fucking foot in now and then, and Schon needs to change his fucking boots. Good game so far.

March 1, 20251 yr I was expecting it to be very different to the cup game, but its just the same so far. Flat, uninspiring, no atmosphere, both teams look half asleep. Very strange lack of tempo.

Could do with Sheehan and Morley getting a grip of the ball but all very scrappy and not exactly a great advert for League One. Wrexham look pretty poor so far, so let’s have a go at them and see what happens.

March 1, 20251 yr A lot of long balls from both teams, no idea why Schon didn't at least try to give it to Collins, the pass was defo on and Collins was in lots of space, very poor. we heading away a lot of things but other than set pieces we're not creating a lot, but not a bad half.
March 1, 20251 yr Great defensively but we have been shockingly poor on the ball and really playing into their hands. They are incredibly one dimensional, all they want to do it cross the ball at any given movement, we have to simply be more aggressive and can't just sit off them, even their centre backs cross it from deep. Cross goes in and they play for the 2nd ball.

March 1, 20251 yr Schon didn't pass cos he didn't bother looking up when running forward with the ball. Free kick on the edge of the box should have been hammered in by Morley with the others looking for deflections

March 1, 20251 yr They just launch it into the box at every opportunity. I just hope one doesn’t drop for them. We need to have a bit more desire when on the ball. Give it away really easily. Tutu’s done some great things recently but I can’t accept chickening out of 50-50’s !
