Great point really.    Knocked off the ball very easily by a typical 'parky team' ,  thought Murphy was poor and cogley played like he was scared of the ball today.

Not sure how TuTu stayed on over Schön

Tallest dwarf comp today, but Tutu the only player in the team with pace and even playing poorly he used his pace and a bit of skill a few times, to create 2 chances (his that hit bar, and for CMG) and also uses pace to get away from his marker in our own half.  He also had the correct boots on which helps!

Good point regarding boots.

Between the warm up and teams coming out, they absolutely twatted the pitch with water. Clear they wanted it in the air. But how have we not got someone watching that and telling players. Even seemed like we had alot slipping in second half as well.

Are players tied to wearing boots that they are sponsored for/get for free etc ?

Im a dinosaur but when I played you had the choice between long and short studs or arrow astrow with a hundred molded mini studs ..... I cant see the benefit of blades , too much like slippers .  Tho I do wish we had that over tongue that covers the laces.

It was strange to be reminded just how dreadful Parki-ball was/is.

Goodness it's dull. His subs, around the 60-80m mark were ALL giants. Amazed he left the Derry man on the bench, if only to wind the fans up.

Wxm saturated the pitch pre match & again at half time. No wonder players were slipping. It was in awful condition, for modern pitches. I've seen less sand on Blackpool beach.

I was very impressed by Mendez-Gomez.

Good point. We should have had a pen. That said. Their goal should of stood. I think we need to prepare for Wembley again

Against Wrexham?

Couldn't tell you mate tbh.

As an overweight 41 year old that shuffles round a five a side pitch once a week these days, I am no expert on boot deals 😂

Was the disallowed goal fairly chalked off ? I just witnessed the 30 second melee & no idea why it wasn't allowed.

Sheehan looked to be stood in an offside position

I agree, CMG looked good when he came on. I think today indicates again the inconsistency of our players with Macca, JDC and Murphy showing little today and Sheehan was way off form. We lack any physicality all over the pitch but especially up front where we are easily knocked off the ball. We might just have enough to scrape the play offs but if Schu does any better than that with this bunch he deserves the freedom of the town.

Tutu seems surprisingly apprehensive on the ball unless he's got an advantage and empty space to run into, might be down to him playing on the left or lack of confidence.  Dunno thought he would fancy himself more against fullbacks
