barrycowdrill Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Take that point all day long wasn’t pretty and low on quality. 13 attempts each and 1 on target each shows that. But, getting anything on the road especially at teams in and around you is always a decent result Will give the lads some extra confidence they can withstand pressure like that. We’d of lost that game 2 months ago Quote
Zico Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Didn't particularly enjoy that but happy enough with the point and probably a fair result Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Well not a classic, could have gone either way, they probably just edged the better chances. Great defensive display though and whilst not the best result, not bad either Quote
kent_white Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Decent game. Either side could have won it. Forester our MOM for me. Quote

freds dad Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Happy with a point but a bit twitchy at times. We must play better on Tuesday Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Just now, Wanderlust said: I was suggesting that the shot hit him rather than him parrying the shot if that makes sense? Nah, thought he got down well for a well taken shot, also thought it was arm not knee Quote
London Wanderer Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Would have loved a win, but it's decent point. They missed a couple of sitters. Had luck on our side. Quote
Arrested development Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Forrester MOTM by a country mile. Thought we should of had a pen in that goalmouth scramble. Their player dived in front of ball and blatantly blocked it with his hand. Quote
Ani Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Shit game, disjointed performance. But a very good point. Quote
Didledee Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 2 good chances for a CMG and Collins near end and that mad goal mouth scramble that ended up with a disallowed schon goal was enough to perhaps win it from out view, though Wrexham did miss a sitter from very close, was thinking that last minute freekick was destined for it to go in, a good point, but need more efforts on goal, Collins needed to hit it more towards corner and CMG to be more composed. Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 A very good point We rode our luck, but we also defended well Forester the first name on the teamsheet now for me - there aren't many better at out-and-out defending in this league The squad as it is currenlty isn't suited to dealing with the physical threat a Parky team poses and despite that we still found a way to get through it Onwards we go Quote
deeane Koontz Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Good point. Rode our luck at times. I do like the way we now throw bodies at the ball like our lives depend on it when defending. Quote
L/H White Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Poor game, no quality whatsoever in the final 3rd Get a point Tuesday tho and it's a good week Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Robbed? Comments suggest we could have had 2 pens. Take that point though. Wycombe losing and have had a player sent off. Quote
1969 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Draw fair result, they missed a sitter we hit the bar and should have had pen Quote
batton carrier Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Decent point away at a side who would have gone 2nd had they won. Bring on Tuesday and the bluenoses Quote
Duck Egg Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Good point. Forrester and Morley rarely put a foot wrong. CMG did well for someone who's been out so long. Quote
Ani Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Bet365 goal alert flashed up to say they scored at end. It was 30 secs ahead of the telly box. Quote
wakey Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Convinced myself we were going to win this. Ah well. Another 1 to add to the points-we-wouldn't-have-got-under-Evatt tally. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Hated every minute of that game. A points a point though. Quote
gonzo Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Tremendous battling point away from home at a top 3 team. Not bad for a collection of shit non league standard players. Quote
TM Trotter Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Rode our luck with some howlers in front of goal for Wrexham, but we had some great chances too. Could have been 5-5 on another day. Huge credit to Forrester, MOM by miles. Well done to Schumacher for changing it up when we were really struggling. Liked CMG's appearance (barring the shot!) - he was a real nuisance. Quote
