February 28, 20251 yr Over the next two games I imagine Lolos will come on at some point but would be surprised if Carlos gets on if he’s not fully fit but needs must. Vic offers something different to all the other 5 strikers although Etete can apparently hold up the ball. Whoever plays I have confidence in SS to adapt accordingly.

I thought Etete was out for the season, or will he feature at some point?

February 28, 20251 yr Win tomorrow. One of the scrawpy ones we like. And a hard fought nowt apiece on Tuesday in front of 20 odd thousand actual turners up.

But, defending a 1-0 lead with 10 mins to go, I think i'd rather him come off the bench than Lolos with a more physical, harrassing approach. All subjective of course. I'm still unsure on Lolos. Certainly seen glimpses, but he needs a run in order to prove this is his level. I like Vic as a player, also feel well see a very different Big Dan when he's back. Lolos scored 15 for Crawley last year so there's something there, He's clearly a bit of a numptey at times, getting that guy sent off a few weeks back (can't remember the team), but even on Saturday when the aim was "time waste" he's in position in the box yelling for the ball, no intention of wasting time and wanting to score.

March 1, 20251 yr One thing’s for sure, nobody wants to see Bolton coming up on the fixture list at the moment. 2-0 Bolton. Collins and McAtee It’ll be interesting to see how he sets up. I can’t see 442 away at 3rd in the league, so he either goes 4 at the back but 1 up top, or 5 at the back with 2 up top. As much as I’d prefer 4 at the back, I think it’ll be 5, Sheehan, Morley and Matete in midfield and then we can get Collins and McAtee up top. Also means Tutu can be kept back for the second half and that’s no bad thing in my opinion, I don’t think he’s shown enough to be a starter yet.

I predicted 5-3-2 earlier in the week, as a means to get Mcatee and Collins up front together, but keep us more solid. 4-4-2 would be exciting but I’m not sure it’s a game for just Sheehan and Morley in the middle. I think it would be Tommo rather than Matete to start.
