That Hepburn chap that scored two....

He's exactly what we need!

Sign him up.

Honestly gonzo, I thought pretty much all of their forwards were our kryptonite, fast and physical, as you say, something we could do with.

Despite all the shithousery and our pratting about, thought they were a right handful on the counter.

Aye, he was very good. Quite a few times the ball was played over the top and he brought it down like his boots were made of gack. Even turned around and brought it down with his back at one point!

I'm guessing not one person on here has seen 7 goals in one half of BW football - happy to be corrected!

It was such a wierd day, we even scored a header from open play.

If anyone can remember the last feel free to share.

Knew that day in time sounded familiar :)

Of course not, but we weren't coming back from 3-1 down under Evatt.

Today was fairly unique of course, but we did come from 2 down v Shrewsbury and played some fantastic stuff for much of the 2nd half (Sheehan at his best in that one too IIRC) and came from a goal down v Blackpool in 2nd half to win deep into injury time same as today.  In fact 3 very very late winners already this season is something to be grateful for, we've had a few limbs moments at the North Stand end considering its been such a poor season.

That 22 came on. Much the same as yon lad who scored. Pace, Power and bang up for it.

We could do with some of that. We seem to be awash with fancy flicks and rolled down socks up top at the min.

Fucking love doing a shit housing team like that, but christ we are wank at defending.

Wingers doing winger type things (Desmond) was ace to finally witness again.

Then home for the rugby for another last minute winner, great day of sport.

Lofty with the leg cramp stretch 😂 fookin love footy at times.

"how shit must you be, we're winning 'arwayy'"

The accent you could hear in the song really grated

We commented on that.  At Burnden when the away fans were housed at the end of the Paddock (so we could actually hear them compared to them being on Embankment), there was often a rendition of "if you can't speak proper shut your gob".  Very cutting.  It was to the tune of "if you're all going to Barnsley clap your hands".

One man who doesn’t get the credit he deserves was JDC. Thought he was playing quite well until he went off. Even more surprised that he went off to be replaced by Jones.

Today highlighted that Toal needs Santos next to him like every good man needs a wife.

He gets turned far too easily and to be honest always has done.

He normally got Santos covering his mistakes or averting attention.

I was a touched surprised to see Johnston on the bench.

Funny as fuck reading back the comments 😂

Couple of lads were away today, so a fellow coach came with his 8 year old (both reds)

Kid said it’s better than Utd this 😂

Let him find his feet and enjoy the ride; even the angry coffin dodgers were content

their defending on that quick free kick is hilarious.

they will be down come May

We all see it differently, my impression was that Lolos was worse than Randall, nothing seemed to come off, and Vic - did he touch the ball?  He had an entertaining argument with the keeper, that was it wasn't it?  Someone's going to say we always win when he plays.

Lolos had the shot that fell to Sheehan. Got lucky but he's direct and gets shots away, sometimes it pays off. I can't think of anything Randall contributed. Vic was at least in the box and challenging for headers! McAtee has got to fit in somewhere but up top on his own isn't it.

Was as calm and measured as I remember him being for Plymouth, didn't get involved in all the ridiculous shenanigans and focused on how to pull the game back our way. Their lad Elliott was like Evatt on steroids for the full 100+ minutes

And Elliott’s 2 assistants were even worse! What’s the point in yellow cards for coaches by the way? They absolutely lost it at the 2nd goal and how they didn’t get sent off I’ll never know (fourth official was dealing with about 34 subs at once so wasn’t really taking any notice).

As you say, noticeable just how calm SS was - he really does come across as a level headed guy. No weird gimmicks like moving dugouts, not looking to kick off with anyone and everyone, just straight forward and focussing on doing a good job (and making in-game changes!!).

It's just shithouse behaviour isn't it and deserves highlighting.

I was amazed and delighted the ref allowed play to continue, well done him 👏

If that’s how they play every week, they deserve to go down, there coaching staff were as bad as the players.

They were good finishes but fuck me they were given so much time and space to get them in it was embarrassing

Not disagreeing, but for arguments sake we had better chances at Reading and Huddersfield and didn't come close to scoring (aside from Collins finish).  I'd go as far as saying there haven't been 3 better finishes against us in one game in L1.  We allowed them space to create chances, we've done that plenty of times against better teams than Crawley, but their finishing was different class.
