Crawley Town (H)

First home match for SS and his team.

It will be interesting to see what if any changes are made by SS after he has had a week to work with the players.

Crawley gave Wrexham a game on Saturday and were only beaten by a 95th minute winner. Although they are in the bottom four it won’t be as easy as some folk think or hope it will be.

A scrappy 3-2 victory

I thought the ref was poor until he got thoroughly pissed off with their antics.

Work to do defensively but the Crawley forwards took them well.

Tutu was immense that 2nd half and Sheehan had a good game too.

So refreshing to see us change things though when required.

Not much to add to this. Tutu man o the match. Sheehan a close second but got knocked about.

Id go Collins for McAtee but otherwise..

Fucking hell fire 🔥

What a 2nd half that was.

Some stuff to pick over, but that's for another day.

Tonight though, for enjoying a great comeback victory.

No better feeling as a fan.

COYWM 😀

Anyone calmed down yet?

Bonkers game, ref finally lost patience with their A grade shithousing, glad we got the winner in that added time.

SS will have learned more about what we're bad at than what we're good at today, liked how he operated though, calm, steady, not getting involved in all the antics, proactive with his changes of people and shapes.

Tutu brilliant second half, though should be advised not to cross the line back into our half, liability when he does. Sheehan tremendous late on, Morley also when dropped back in those late stages.

All three goals of theirs were woeful on our part but fair play, they finished them all really well

Still shadow boxing .

Seen us come back from 3-1 down to win a few times , not sure when the last one was but remember Swindon X2

But McAtee didn’t play today 😉

Haha

The referee was the Motm having the balls to add on the correct amount of time they wasted.

their keeper was a fucking fairy in pink and should have had a large 12 inch dildo shoved up his bottom in the first half never mind the second.

European domination beckons.

Lovely stuff

Eccentric result in an eccentric season. We are very much in transition. A squad lopsided with quality compared to physique and leadership. A squad with a number of players who are out of contract at the end of the season. A new manager/new era in its embryonic stages. Lots of injuries. I think we can probably expect more odd fluctuations until things begin to settle down.

SS will be gathering his thoughts all the time.

Worth enjoying today though because it ain't very often your team wins 4-3 after being 1-3 down with 22 minutes to go. Also not often you see a game finish 4-3 after being 0-0 at HT.

He did dick all for 101 of the 102 minutes. Albeit he did very well for his goal.

Sheehan's the slightly built guy, dark hair, bit of a beard.

Who did you think he was ?

The one being largely ineffectual in midfield and getting knocked off the ball every time he had a 50/50 😁

Absolutely buzzing what a comeback a couple of negatives Mcatee does nothing don’t know what he is tbh and our defence needs to stop switching off but otherwise excellent comeback from 3-1 down.

Well that was nice, and always good to beat Crawley. Even better knowing there got to drive back to that shitehole and live there 😁

Collins for Mcatee would be my only change

I’d swap Collins for McAtee and Lolos for Randall.

Re Randall, if he sulked at Posh he’s going to have to pull his socks up here, because he’ll need to show something more than the last couple of games if he wants to keep his place in the starting 11.

Ginger flag lad got loads of abuse from NSL towards the end of the second half. Someone threw a digestive biscuit at their keeper, and he pointed them out to the stewards. Filthy fucking grass! 😁

Loved it when their keeper booted it out when yet another of theirs went down nowhere near play.

And Gethin refused to throw it back to them.

Top stuff that, goes on way too much in games these days.

Fuck 'em 😁

Probably because he booted it as hard as he could right into the crowd. The cunt.

Red cards and own goals etc. 🤣

Ha ha 😀  For clarification, that sending off today was absolutely earned by us (Tutu) being better than their full backs - their only choice was to haul him down and get deserved yellows.  That contributed to us deservedly winning the game, eventually.

The sendings off under IE weren't earned by us, they were just bizarre acts of indiscipline by the opposition.  Big difference between earning "luck" and being handed luck, same as today's OG being fully earned.

That 2nd half is what football should be like more often!  Except for the blatant cheating of course.

Not knocking you Kent, we all see things differently and I know you’re not one that will just pile in for the sake of it, but we spent the whole of that second half just saying “give it to Sheehan” - whenever he’s got it he makes something happen. Even in the first half when he was less effective, he put about 3 or 4 inch perfect diagonals over their left back to get JDC in.

I’m liking more and more the idea of getting him further forward, let Morley and Matete/GT do the donkey work behind and let him impact the game where he’s at his best. Problem is, it puts him into the space where we already have Randall (who was awful today), Lolos, McAtee and you could argue a few others. Still think he’s our best midfielder though so you play him where he’s most effective and then work the rest out.

Aged well that 😁.

Although I'm sure @L/H White is made up with the outcome.

Fair play to the ref though adding on 12. Thought he was a cunt up until that point.

Is it not the 4th official that does the injury time?

I was expecting 6 or 7, couldn't believe it was 12 and thought straight away we should win this, a big moment psychologically for both teams.

But how was it only 2 minutes in the 1st half?  Not that it mattered, we wouldn't have scored if it was 10, but they stopped for 2 minutes at least just for that drinks break.

Absolutely fucking mint.

can really analyse much at the minute to busy enjoying it,
