o see a team get so caught up in their shithousery they fucked the game up was brilliant. Seeing grown men hugging outside the ground was superb.

I was not at the match, listened to the commentary but my feeling at the end was they lost it by shit housing... 3-1 up and all you have to do is defend but they couldn't switch off... serves the bastards right 😉

They did lose due to their shithousery. Ref played on while one of theirs was down writhing and whithousing and we scored. The original 12 mins overtime turned into about 14 because we scored again and took our time celebrating.

First time for ages it looked and sounded like there were 20,000+ on.

Well no, they don't.

Perfectly reasonable at the time.

Team wasn't performing very well.

They picked up substantially, and got their rewards.

As suggested by the manager, there is still plenty to do.

Fortunately, it appears he has the tactical nous to change things and turn things around.

Fair enough. Think you questioned the spirit. Well at the end it was there in spades.

Not in an argumentative mood. So after a win let's leave it there.

Great stat.  So basically it happens once in a lifetime.  Glad I was able to make it today.

Blimey. You're in your early 20's?!

Not disagreeing, but for arguments sake we had better chances at Reading and Huddersfield and didn't come close to scoring (aside from Collins finish).  I'd go as far as saying there haven't been 3 better finishes against us in one game in L1.  We allowed them space to create chances, we've done that plenty of times against better teams than Crawley, but their finishing was different class.

The first 2 looked the most impressive but that 3rd was unreal! From that angle, and on his right foot he had nowhere else he could put it than in off the post and he absolutely nailed it - just before he shot I actually thought “good move but there’s no danger at this angle” then he sticks it away like a top premier league striker!

Others have said it but their front men tore us a new one for most of the game. Pace, power, non-stop energy, won headers, top finishing - how the fuck are they so low down with multiple ‘prime drogbas’ at their disposal?

Wilbraham vibes

That hepburn Murphy looked decent but his career stats don't look that impressive. His second goal he took really well though.

I like 4 at the back. I think 4231 works well but we can't have Schon as a winger. Might have to play around with the other winger. I just genuinely think he's the most overrated player we have. Built like a 12 year old, no pace , no strength, can't beat a man. He's fucking shit. Tutu has his man on toast, Schon didn't do anything all game.

Lack of wingers in the squad might mean we end up going back to 352.

Id be happy with trying Collins or Mcatee as a wider player in a 4231. Anything but Schon.

Great leap for our first.

Don’t forget CMG can play as a winger.

Is he bollocks.

That 22 came on. Much the same as yon lad who scored. Pace, Power and bang up for it.

We could do with some of that. We seem to be awash with fancy flicks and rolled down socks up top at the min.

Those are the cards IE left SS with, and he was given no time to do anything about it till the summer.

That Hepburn chap that scored two....

He's exactly what we need!

Sign him up.

The turn, burst away and shot for the third was brilliant. We've nobody who can do anything like it. All three were no nonsense, no dithering, thump it home finishes.

My favourite moment was when their manager went over and had a look at the added time the 4th official was adding and walked away with his head in his hands.

I knew then we were in for shitloads. Didn’t expect 12 though

IMO he's the worst player in the squad. He's rubbish. He was a bad wingback but he's a worse attacking midfielder. Not once today did he put a decent cross in, beat a man, get a shot of. He can't kick with his right foot so comes inside all the time. Full back figured him out after 10 minutes. Wank.

Correct. He said some nice things about the squad in the week, no doubt trying to build positivity, but will have seen from today more that we're bad at than good at.

It's a badly unbalanced, physically weak squad that lacks pace, power, ability in the air and ability to win and hold off challenges.

SS has got a job on but him and his coaches certainly showed today they were prepared and able to make bold, smart decisions to try to change things. Their work this aft, especially late on, gives me some confidence

Schon is a decent player imo.

Least of our worries.

Lolos had the shot that fell to Sheehan. Got lucky but he's direct and gets shots away, sometimes it pays off. I can't think of anything Randall contributed. Vic was at least in the box and challenging for headers! McAtee has got to fit in somewhere but up top on his own isn't it.

Agree on McAtee, a mystery IE signing for that money, has shown he can finish occasionally but general contribution is flimsy.

On reflection I agree Randall was poor overall, but slightly better than Lolos.

I quite like Lolos, but today he was rash and tried things that didn't come off.  His shot that was always going to hit the defender wasn't a positive, it was a desperate shot from distance that lacked composure and thought, pure fluke that it landed at Sheehan's feet.  If the same situation arises next game, I'd hope he'd be looking to maintain possession at least, or get a better angle for a shot.

Schon challenges for headers better than Vic, its embarrassing.

Honestly gonzo, I thought pretty much all of their forwards were our kryptonite, fast and physical, as you say, something we could do with.

Despite all the shithousery and our pratting about, thought they were a right handful on the counter.

Yeah let’s buy every player that has a decent game against us in the summer. The reason these players are in league one is that they’re inconsistent. Don’t make silly calls based on once in  blue moon situations

Shon is a very decent winger. As is Tutu. Today was Tutu's day, another time it'll be Schon's.
