You make a reasonable point.

On the flip side, we were twatted by Huddersfield at home with him as manager. We won there without him.

Very easy to make stats say what you want.

Without doubt though, Evatt wouldn't have made those tactical substitutions yesterday.

If people think that Tutu was on top form yesterday please imagine how that would have been under Evatt.

He's gone, very rightly and rather too late in my view, but he's gone. Just move on.

Schon might have been a bit ineffective yesterday but christ he wasn't that bad was he?

I think he's been alright this season tbf.

Give 100% and is always running at folk.

Not much more you can ask from a player signed from the Hungarian second division really.

I dont get it. I know it's not saying much but He's been one of our better players this season. Even if its a game where the quality isn't there the effort always is.

I thought the ref was decent tbh. He obviously sussed out their players were taking the piss and let us take a quick free kick and score whilst one of theirs was still on the floor. Added on more injury time than I've ever seen.

Agree on all that Dave. Don’t care that it was Crawley. Buzzin off that win

Another narrow win against a team that some on here were predicting a cricket score against. So many people out of touch with the reality of where we are at and the quality of other teams in the league.

Crikey. That’s your take. Enjoy.

Correct, as bad as evatts football got, part of the reason we've stagnated is also due to Markham, some of the recruitment has been shocking

Another that needs replacing during the summer

Not every signing works mate. Not at any club in the land, especially for a club fishing in the pool we are.

Both keepers, Tutu, Collins, Randall etc aren't bad players are they?

He's bought in plenty that have or could work.

I did think the ref could have stamped his authority on the game earlier and avoided a lot of what went on.  How on earth didn’t their goalie get booked ??
some of this feigning injuries needs sorting out at the top, same with shirt pulling.  Just spoiling the game.

but certainly a great point in terms of the time added on, but it was warranted.

Extended highlights on Sky football at 1:30 this morning, 15 minutes worth.

They must just show injury time 😎😁👍

For anyone who didn’t see the extended highlights.

Need to move on from the knob head. He went for a reason and good riddance.

Tutu will rightly get the plaudits but I thought Morley was an utter machine yesterday. Sprayed some lovely passes, got stuck in and ended up being the last man. So glad it’s turned round for him.

Can thank Wycombe for that. Completely different player from what left us. Was a great move for him and ultimately because he stayed, us!

Starts every game for me.

Or would we not have been 1-3 down under Evatt in the first place. Don’t slate him when everyone says we were flat track bullies under him. Give the man some respect. We won and cruised to a 2-0 away win at their place under him. We would not have been 1-3 for sure today.

Dion tore their defence to shreds during the away game. I dare say he would have done the same yesterday, as the gaps in the channels and through the middle were massive. Evatt would have left Dion on the bench if he was still with us.

The tactical flexibility and in-game management was so refreshing and exciting!

Did Morley end up in defence at the end?! And how many formation changes did we actually make? I stopped trying to make sense of it when Morley looked like he was CB and Gethin was a right forward 😂

Think I can recall someone saying they were just going to sit back and take it all in and see how SS reacted and changed things. If that person can shine some light, I’d be very grateful 😂

What a day though. Enjoyed the Rubgy too after. Nam Ploy run a great match day 👏

Forget the 1st half performace, put all the individual mistakes to one side and leave them for SS to work on.

That 2nd half of football the whole 57 minutes of it was the tonic the whole club needed. The ground hasn't sounded like that in an age . A new era truely began yesterday

Morley’s one of those players that you can just tell has the natural ability to be at least at the top of this league, and possibly be perfectly comfortable in the league above. He’s just a very good footballer.

We saw it the season before last but then he just turned into a very ‘nothing’ player. It looked like he’d topped out and would likely head to L2 rather than the Championship - said it before but whether that was on him or on Evatt we’ll never know (probably both).

You can just tell now that his head’s back on it, he’s come back with a swagger - I’m a centre mid that can play for top of the league, give me the ball, I’m the main man. Great to see and suddenly we’ve got a top midfield option again.

Impossible Markham signed him so he is shit

Still can't believe Jones got to that ball. Fucking rapid.

I agree we definitely miss Rico at the back, he’s a massive presence there and if played purely as a defender is the best we have. Hopefully when he’s fit and isn’t required to act as a playmaker we will be all the better for it. I just hope he can get his head straight under SS and put what’s gone on behind him?

If he gets his mind focused, him and toal as the two centre backs maybe the ticket to the playoffs

And given how they'd played so cynically, seeing back I'm amazed their covering player didn't just foul Jones.

Bet their manager bollocked him for that.😁

Morleys ball for jones and the deflected 4th really was top drawer.   I've never been morleys no1 fan but yesterday he was immense,  like the handbrake has been lifted and told to just go and enjoy your football,   let's have more young man.

Another blank for Dion yesterday. Made up like 10/12 points on Huddersfield since he joined.😂
