Don't piss on their parade mate. Let them enjoy themselves.

He will be glowing with self satisfaction at managing to slip another 'r' word in. Two more points in the virtue signalling league.

A spade is a spade and TR/SYL is a racist.  Thought that was common knowledge. No virtue signalling here - just saying how it is.

See, again the racist word is thrown about.

He is undoubtedly extreme in his view, but it is targeted at those Islamist extremists in our midst.

Whether that attitude pervades somewhat into non-extreme Muslims is clearly open to debate.

He is also a bit of a dodgy character with a history of violence.

Looking more deeply into his activities, there are seemingly no issues with other colours and creeds. He has supporters from minorities, and grew up alongside and was friends with them.

I guess it's what an individual personally defines as "racist".

Being pedantic for a moment, Islam isn't a race, so it doesn't fit in that sense.

If politicians actually got serious about the situation and dealt with it, the bloke would be marginalised, become insignificant and largely forgotten about.

Spot on. Fully agree that people like TR/SYL gain popularity by playing on the genuine injustices normal folk feel or see in society around them. Frustrates hell out of me that political incompetence from the main parties gives the oxygen of publicity to less salubrious characters such as him.

Anyway, let’s get back to gender identity politics and trans rights!

Aye, and they tend to be absolute whoppers too.

Here's the definition (apologies for going along with the tangent 😄)

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group

When you label all 1.8 billion followers of a religion as 'backwards and barbaric', whilst calling their religion a 'disease'. Then you're ticking some of those boxes I'm afraid, even if Islam isn't necessarily a race. Having friends and allies in other 'groups' doesn't make you not prejudiced towards another group either.

I wouldn't call him racist personally, for similar reasons to yours. It's become a bit of a word that is thrown around with no context and doesn't help much. Tends to just shut down the debate. But I can understand why people thinks he fits the definition.

An incredibly naive and prejudiced fella. Glad he's serving his time and our politicians aren't pandering to his bullshit.
