Did you not check out the refund policy on split tickets? 😂

Fuck it. Day out. OINO. Jolly boys. Put this season to bed. Have a laugh. Look forward to next season. Finish with a win.

Get some more pills from the doctor.

Before going through it all again next season

In the many interesting words from Schuey post Lincoln, one was how he just wants to simplify things from a defensive standpoint.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is looking at this game in particular as an experiment now ahead of next season. I think we could see us play quite defensively and maybe let them have all of the ball, to try build some defensive solidarity.

there seems to be no reason, or even capacity, to play 3 at the back with WBs

would like to see a back 4 miself

I'm done with back 3s, had enough of them

this would do I suppose

Southwood

Murphy
Forino
Johnston
Jones

Matete
Thomason

Collins
Randall
Lolos

Dave

With two games to go and nothing to play for, I’d be more inclined to have a look at youngsters, over those who won’t be here next season.

inwood over Murphy, AN Other over Jones and Sharples-Ahmed over Matete, etc.

Can't wait to see how our defence handles Poku and the rest of their rapid attackers

We couldn't handle Pingu & Pikachu

Seems they will have a couple missing with injury, including Jade-Jones.

Is she from the women's team?
She'd still outmuscle Johnston at the back post.

I know what you mean but not sure a banjoing by a free flowing Posh would do them much good. We could easily get stuffed 4 or 5 by them with the most experienced lot we could put out.

I'd be tempted to put a few in v Stevenage, give the home support something interesting to watch and maybe get behind, a way of deflecting away some of the negativity that will be around the stadium

Fair point @ianofcleveleys. Given I couldn’t even name an alternative for Jones, perhaps two changes to the defence might be a bit much. Would still like to see Inwood in for Murphy from the start, though. SSA, Abimbola and, maybe, Lawrence given some second half minutes.

Noted today Conway voted Crewe's player of the season. Good for the lad, would hope to seem him around the first team squad for next season

Absolutely.

I'm sure SS will have had reports from Crewe as well as our own staff.

Given we need a left back, it would seem a no brainer to get him signed on a new contract. Doesn't have to be a massive one, but give the lad the opportunity, let him prove himself, and improve his contract if he does.

Don't want to keep seeing youngsters not getting a chance.
