Bet the 75% who voted on sticking with him change their mind after this dross

Because of a boring half in a nothing trophy with a completely rotated side?

Wigan apparently his last chance, don't know how true it is, but board apparently ready to dump him.

Typical isn't it, think they've lost the plot, give the guy one window and then sack another manager half way through January. If it does come to that, then I'm afraid I'll have lost faith that they're the ones to take us forward.

Hardly one half is it?

We've been shite for weeks.

And he's rotated plenty then too.

Every single player in tonight's team has had a good number of games this season, so we can't use the inexperienced/youngster excuse.

I hadn't made my mind up on this topic, and to an extent I'm still either way, but after tonight it wouldn't bother me at all if he went.

But the difference between the question being posed and him asking if there was regret, was one half of football in a pointless cup with a much changed side.

I get it's shit and been shit, but I'm willing to back a manager with a good track record at this level with more than one window.

If you were happy that they brought him in, then you must feel that they were taking us in the right direction, and trusted their judgement.

Perhaps they realise that they stuck with IE too long, and they said from the off this season that we needed to go up.

It doesn't look likely at the moment, and we're getting worse.

We have also heard that the money isn't going to be there (hardly surprising) to fund losses.

Therefore, maybe they don't feel there is the option to let it drift.

There may also be issues behind the scenes which we don't know about.

One thing is clear, they're no longer playing for him.

Have we to start stockpiling the tennis balls?

It says a lot when at this stage of the season he doesn’t know who our best goalkeeper, centre half, full back, midfielder and attacker is.

We could literally lose any player out the team and I’m not sure it’d matter. The system isn’t suiting the players. Lose at Wigan and I think he’s gone, rightly or wrongly.

It's turning into a shitshow on top of a shitshow, with the fees and contracts doled out to the likes of Dalby, Taylor, Simons, Erhahon, Gale and a swathe of loans who've shot their bolt by Christmas.

If he's potted after Wigan, whoever comes in hasn't much room for manoeuvre in the fortnight that's left, and I don't hold with the idea that these are a good enough squad someone else should be able to shake up, sort out and get up

What’s your source for this information? Serious question. Have you heard it from someone on the inside, or have you simply heard a whisper from a friend and then reported it to everyone on here?

Twitter codswallop.

Can just see Micheal James and Sharon Brittan sharing their thoughts on our manager to all and sundry and it making its way to Wanderersways.

If someone else comes in it will be Fergals man, Schumacher isn't.  Can't believe how quickly the wheels have fallen off.

That last sentence sums it up for me. I'd be pulling my hair out if I had any. Definitely feels like we're going backwards.

In fact, the first sentence does also.

Exactly. There's only 3 people who would realistically make this decision. The 2 of them and NL. The idea that anything would leak from them is fanciful.

Plenty stuff got leaked under IE. These days hardly anything comes out. The way it should be

I mean I wouldn't say I've reported it like in feeding back vital information, I said apparently, I don't have an inside line and few people that claim to actually do.

Stuff gets floated in a chat I'm in occasionally from someone that claims to have a line, it's frequently accurate, but wrong often enough as well.

So how do we afford sacking the manager, sporting director, and half the squad?

Don’t worry about that. They just all need fucking off.

We’re only about 2 bad results away from suggestions that SS is having an affair with SB or NL.

It's during these dark times when the real stupid comments come out.

Already seen multiple, "bring back big Sam and have Kevin Davies and Campo as his coaching staff"

😂

Agree with everything but the last line. We can pretend all we want that it’s squad rotation in a long season, but in reality it’s because he has no idea what his best team is, and is so wedded to the same system even if it means players aren’t playing in their best position.

As I said, the only bit I disagree with is that I don’t think he’ll be getting potted this side of Easter. If only because we obviously have form in giving Evatt as much time as we did and I expect Sharon to be the same this time around, even if Schumacher feels much less of a ‘project’.

Hearing stuff about the trip to Dublin now.

Funny how all these rumours only come out when it's going west.

Remember Evatt headbutting Baxter :D

SB has stepped back to an extent of late; NL stepping up lately

Another case of a DoF sitting in the shadows making a monumental fuck up then shutting his office door. We've had three goes at this now, with only modest success.

The so-called 'recruitment guru' Dickinson also has a lot to answer for. What are we going to do with the likes of Taylor and Dalby, on 4 year deals and our wages but currently only fit for loaning back to somebody like Kilmarnock.

Pretty sure Dickinson signed neither. Cissoko was his though.

To make everyone even more mental we were winning with Cissoko on the left wing and Sheehan not playing.

Guys the problem is clearly not the footballers or even the formation tbh, it's the tactics, simple.
