Didledee Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) keeper lump or a ball forward form someone --- Dalby rather holds it up to no one near him or it's into space and it takes him 5 years to reach where the ball goes and there's feck all other players to chase it because they are all defending in their own half vs Burton We are 3rd, they should be pinned back or at least have our front men high up the pitch, zero chance of counters, zero outlets, just hoping for a brief moment to snatch something (Dempsey/GJ miss) which was was about 30 seconds in a 46 minutes half Edited January 27 by Didledee Quote
bwfc87 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Atmosphere is that flat, all can hear is the moaning cunts in the ground. It’s excruciating. Hoping for a better second half. Quote

Whitesince63 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 How the hell did this guy win L1, there’s just nothing and we’re going backwards if anything. I don’t even think Evattball was as bad as this. Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted January 27 Popular Post Posted January 27 Don't get the Dalby hate tbh. Lads got a thankless task up there on his jack. Played well at Wigan leading the line and played well on Sat. He's not there to be dynamic, he's there as a battering ram for people to play off. He gets zero balls in, zero crosses in and absolutely no service. He's not the problem tonight. We've got two wing backs who can't get up and down the pitch. Zero pace on the field. Still should be winning mind. Quote
worthy10 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Dynamic half time changes in personnel or tactics. I hope so Quote
bwfc4ife Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Sometimes I post stuff that I think later in hindsight may have been unfair. That first half was dire, hope we get the result but it’s been hard these last few weeks staying positive with the tripe they’re serving up Quote

Still should be winning mind. Tend to agree. He’s not been that bad. He’s won flick ons, but has nobody off him. He’s not had a decent cross to attack. He’s not a player to run on to through balls, so no point playing them (hence why he didn’t win the foot race). Great ball in from Dalby then. Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Dalby puts a great ball across, but he should be in the middle Quote
Didledee Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) and of course we still defend corners with 11 men in the box with zero counter attack opportunity, leave 3 forward, they leave 3 or more back, be adventurous, the aim of football is to score. Edited January 27 by Didledee Quote
Didledee Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Sure Dalby scored a similar goal like that recently, bit of luck that we needed! Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Yesssss get in. McAtee looking for the cross, but took the shot as no one there. Right concentrate, dont concede and get a 2nd Quote

barrycowdrill Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Was the initial touch that made that. And that’s him in a nutshell. Someone to play up and in to Quote
