Just discovered something else I'm never doing myself again. Bastard fucking cunting twatting coving.

Haha yeah. Used to go through loads of polyfilla to fill the corners. Found it impossible to get the angles right

Don't worry about how it looks... it'll all be lying on the floor in the morning 😀

Then you're back to being fucked.

If you are relying on a plasterer then you're well fucked.

You can buy corners.

Not a single corner in the room was 90 degrees. Had to go round a chimney breast too. It's ended up looking alright, thanks to a shit load of filler, but I'm never doing it again. Did my fucking head in.

Tell me about it... gave one a start on Monday moorning (he was on probation), Wednesday dinner time he did an armed robbery on the Post Office down the road!

Been helping a pal doing up his late mum's house... can't believe the price of filler, 20 quid a bag for easyfill

We are refurbishing and are taking the coving down.

It was put by the builder who built our cul de sac and it was his home. It’s made of wood and is screwed and plugged every 24 inches.

Moved here 23 years ago. Not put one single piece of coving up at all. Not a fucking chance. My mum has coving in every single room. Had to have some work done recently which meant work on the coving. I did the gardening and reminded her that she has another son to call on for odd jobs

We looked at a house last week (downsizing) with coving in the living room... wifey said she didn't like it and it would be no problem for me to remove it... I inwardly groaned😒... more bags of easyfill

Done loads of coving for ourselves and relatives over the years. The Gyproc coving came with a paper template for inner and outer mitres making it pretty simple to mark and cut. Fitting is definitely a two man, or woman, job.
