Happy Wanderer Posted February 6, 2010 Author Posted February 6, 2010 Thing is apart from (about) 1975 when George Best, Rodney Marsh and Bobby Moore played for Fulham, can you ever remember a great spectical of a match between the two sides? I certainly can't as each one has been a very dull affair with plenty of draws and nil nils.
Ani Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 muamba was very good knight did fine, too one or two others were average...a mention for ricketts at this stage who got on with giving his best throughout thats the good bits out of the way im throwing it open to all here, so lets see if somebody wants to take on the challenge 1 - defend kevin davies 2 - defend coyle playing mark davies up front skd was poor today, however 1. when m davies hit the bar ir was a knock down from skd 2. the elmander chance was a ball from skd 3. looked like a goal at the end so apart from creating 2 good chances and scoring what looked like a good goal he was poor. as for tamir cohen, he looks more like a cheap signing every game.
Casino Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 mark davies shouldn't have been playing up front but almost scored 2 k davies did have his moments, but his touch is non-existent and he doesn't seem up for the fight dunno if hes felt he has to re invent himself when he started getting booked every week re cohen - he looked for a week or two like that goal scoring midfielder any club would die for without his goals, he's not very good
Carlos Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 perhaps you, Frank and Moaner J can tell us exactly how many chances he needs then? Who the fuck do you think I am, Opta?
surrey_white Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Poor game today, however we looked like the only side that was capable of winning. Positives Muamba was brilliant, and the makeshift back four looked solid. Another poor performance from Cohen and Taylor, I would bring Gardner and Wilshere in against City. The "goal" was fine from my advantage point but SKD was getting nothing from Clattenburg all day. Couldn't understand the 4-5-1 formation today, the game changed when we went 4-4-2 we looked more comfortable on the ball and were better going forward. We need at least 4 points from City,Wigan,Dingles.
HomerJay Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Shocking 1st half entertaining yet still poor quality 2nd half not seen the goal so I'll reserve judgement muamba was only player to come out of game with any credit fulham were none existant as an attacking force lee should have scored so should elmander so should m davies really lets just move on
snowball Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Who the fuck do you think I am, Opta? No,opta says Elmander is shite.

I certainly can't as each one has been a very dull affair with plenty of draws and nil nils. Did we beat them 4-1 at their place once, with David Lee on spectacular form. Can't be sure, could have imagined it.
Carlos Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 No,opta says Elmander is shite. I agree. What's your point?
snowball Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I agree. What's your point? None if we both don't rate Elmander.
tarian1979 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Coyle has given the likes of Taylor,Cohen and Elmander there chances it is time to start with Weiss and Wilshere, I expect these lads to shine and propel us up the league. i agree its time to start them, but we wont be propeling up the league. we're right in the middle of a relegation fight and i would take 17th now to be honest. Only 6 home games left and two of them being man u and villa. write off four of the aways - city, chelsea, spurs and everton. leaves us 9 games to get the points we need
bwfc2003 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 One good thing about cheap tickets today, is that it seems like a lot of the moaning twats who generally post on here between 3:00 and 4:45 actually attended the game today. HALLEGH FUCKING LUGHLA - GET BEHING YOUR FUCKING TEAM . The ten quid lot meant the atmosphere worse than usual

The ten quid lot meant the atmosphere worse than usual Last 10 mins when we started to play atmosphere got going, if we produce half hearted performances not surprised crowd was quiet.
Burndens Bogs Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 That was a bent descision by the star of the show - Mark fcukin Clattenburg. He'll be telling his Mrs later "Watch me tonight love, i disallowed the Bolton goal, but i hate 'em anyway - and at least it'll get me some attention" Utter, utter cheating cnut.
Werder barmen Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 people questioning coyle already... maybe its just our squad is shit..like I have said for the last two years.
Casino Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) this group of players played worse under megson on occasions it played very much better the moaning about megson took all the heat off the players theyre in for a rough time if they don't up their level and playing mark davies as a striker wants fcuking questioning! worthy10 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) mark davies shouldn't have been playing up front but almost scored 2 k davies did have his moments, but his touch is non-existent and he doesn't seem up for the fight dunno if hes felt he has to re invent himself when he started getting booked every week re cohen - he looked for a week or two like that goal scoring midfielder any club would die for without his goals, he's not very good i agree.Cohen looked special for about six games. But not now, form is temporary, class is permanent.I'd like to see OC be bold now that he's has a few games to see what we've got. Therefore rest Cohen and Taylor and introduce holden and wilshere, not necessarily both at the same time though. Having refelected positively on todays game, Fulham disappointed, I thought they were better than that. We were unlucky again with the deflection ff szhwarzer's arse and the disallowed goal. A rare clean sheet. A makeshift defence looked solid. In OC we trust. You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter! Edited February 6, 2010 by worthy10
barry cowdrill Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I heard boos at the HT whistle today. Those who booed want shooting. Fans need to get behind the fucking team. Atmosphere was fucking shite today. I could hear the 27 Fulham fans all game. [/quote Unfortunatley the kind of support we have now is different from when Coyle was here as a a player,we seem to be now a fan base full of booers, lets boo at all costs!
emus wig Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 i love my team, but let me say iam living in hull.they are more organised and potent than we are .i can only see one way for us.it pains me to admit it, but we look like relegation fodder waiting to happen.thats without the bad karma( burnley}.if we cant beat fulm at home .who can we beat? they were so toothless today .kill me now.i am so depressed.where are the points coming from?
DeaneWhite Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 22289 Of which 289 Fulham fans- maximum. As for the match itself. Words cannot describe how bad it was- at least until Weiss came on. Within seconds he had won a free kick. He seems to have energy to burn. Taylor is clearly robbing a living, and has been for some time. SKD's reputation may have been a factor in the disallowed goal and lack of a blatant penalty in the first half. On the other hand, I wonder if anyone in the Clattenberg household has won the Pools? Mr Mark Cuntandberk certainly seemed to be trying his damndest to keep the game goalless!!! Watching MOTD to see the "goal" again, but I'll have to wait- we're bound to be on last with that result.
only1swanny Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 just seen the match again, Davies deffo a goal one of theirs fell over after.. so ref called it.. Elmo's miss.. he couldnt have scored anyway, Keeper had his angles right.. Gutted
DeaneWhite Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 just seen the match again, Davies deffo a goal one of theirs fell over after.. so ref called it.. Elmo's miss.. he couldnt have scored anyway, Keeper had his angles right.. Gutted All anyone needs to do to get a Bolton goal disallowed is fall over- especially if SKD is involved. If SKD wins a header, he must have committed a foul. There is absolutely no point in him even bothering if that's the case.
YATESY Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Elmo's miss.. he couldnt have scored anyway, Keeper had his angles right.. Gutted Sorry but thats shite He had 2 foot to "squeeze" it in, not including the off-the-post option. Either way, your excuse for him is meaningless as he didn't test the keepers angles.
