Quite some time ago I started a thread asking WW members who live in and around the Bolton Borough area to let me know of any pubs which have ceased trading as such and are currently empty. I need to know if they're boarded up or not as well.

Last time out we got the list below. Have any since reopened or are there any new ones to add.

Church Inn George St. still closed, boarded up.

Canary Plodder Lane in process of being done up but still closed

Greyhound Manchester Road closed, not boarded up.

Lostock Arms in process of being done up but closed for the foreseeable. Will be a real ale pub and food place when it gets going.

Queen Anne : Junction Rd Has reopened for about the 5th time in recent times. Not doing to well trade wise at the moment either. Was in there after getting back from Wolves last Saturday and there was me + 1 and the landlady, till we left just as someone else wandered in.

You're both wrong. It's Fanny's is overflowing.

Though to be fair, the last 2 Saturday's it was only mildly gushing.
