I was reading some conspiracy nut blog today linking him to all sorts of stuff. It was quite convincing at first, but then the links got more and more tenuous - ending in the fact Uncle Jimmy was actually an undercover agent for a zionist conspiracy to enslave the world, using various bigwigs penchant for kids as bargaining levers. Was really strange to read, and has now disappeared*! This is how these crackpots cultivate a mythos to things. It's quite unnerving to take one in (conspiracy website) and not feel manipulated - they are very skilled at creating an aura of 'revealing' the truth, piecing the 'jigsaw' - kind of like 'occam's razor' in reverse. * Found it again, it wasn't the type of thing you'd want bookmarked. If he carried more weight than was apparent at first glance. Knighted by the Pope and the Queen - that's quite a double. Anyone who watched that 'When Louis Met...' will attest to this. He spent the entire programme boasting of his decorations - research shows this wasn't some buffoon ballooning either. I read somewhere that Michael Jackson's 'Wacko Jacko' image, was carefully cultivated and encouraged (rather than something he endured under sufferance).
