Whites man Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I hope he gets the job. The SPL will become much more competitive. Haha, that's a very delicate kicking. Quote
TroySwoosh Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 he would do well, then he would get a job back in England and confirm his shitness, celtic job is made for him Quote
White Shirt Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Rosler was being linked in this mornings paper. 33/1 lump on COYWM Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Rosler was being linked in this mornings paper. 33/1 lump on COYWM Now that would royally make my day. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Celtic could win the league with a rabbit as manager so it's perfect job for Coyle. Quote
tomski Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 he would do well, then he would get a job back in England and confirm his shitness, celtic job is made for himThis is where I'm at. Despite his failings I still find it hard to dislike him as it wasn't through the want of trying. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Good link to the man. Life's too short to go around being bitter about the past. Unless you've sod all going on in the present, obviously. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Good link to the man. Life's too short to go around being bitter about the past...We've sold Marvin then? Marvellous, how much did we recoup on him, £1m? £2m? I hope he fails miserably...And drags them down a good few pegs before he gets potted (should he get the job). The fitness coaches (at Celtic) should have a few quid on that too (Coyle taking over), sweeten the pill of getting their p45s. Edited May 26, 2014 by Youri McAnespie Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I still think he (Sordell) was a panic buy as well, after another deal fell through in the dying moments of the window. Quote
burndenpaddock Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 He was, weren't we after zaha at the time? He turned us down so we got sordell instead Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 It was Zaha then, I thought it was but wasn't 100% and didn't want to have to go back and edit . Anyway, iirc Sordell wasn't even on the radar until the last minute and we paid a premium as a result I'd venture... Then we find out the c*nt doesn't even fancy venturing north of Watford after all. Forgive and forget my arse. Quote

Guest bwfcdan Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I don't hate him, but dear me he made some poor signings. The above two for example. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I don't hate him, but dear me he made some poor signings. The above two for example. That's it. Poor manager, but he never did anything malicious. It was more like incompetence, which isn't a basis to hate him. Quote
bgoefc Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I hope he gets the job. The SPL will become much more competitive. I love the sentiment, but without Hearts, Hibs and the Rangers, even we could win that league. Quote
GeorgeOghani'sIroningBoard Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Scotland! The only Champions League qualifying league with no capital city team in the top flight? Teuchtar bastards! Quote
Danny G Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 He was, weren't we after zaha at the time? He turned us down so we got sordell instead He rang Malky McKay asking what his on thoughts on Sordell where only to be told that he is crap, word then got back to Coyle that McKay was in fact preparing a bid to sign Sordell, so he jumped in there First. Shocking if true surely spending that amount of money the chief scout and manager should have seen the player on many occasions and if that's been the case he is in fact a cunt. Quote

Iirc all the scouting had come back positive and he'd rang mckay as his ex manager to get a personality check check. Mckay gave him apparently duff info as he was prepping a transfer bid. So coyle, wrongly as it turned out, stuck in a bid for sordell Quote
