for me we've got a load of hardworking honest types - if we believe the manager

however, we've got very little flair

and rob hall is more likely being bombed due tio attitude rather than talent

BN reporting Max Clayton is coming in on trial from Crewe - this might be our masterplan to beat them next week!

Have you got a link?

Everton were linked with him 2 days ago, hmmmm

The thing that concerns me is how many players come here and immediately look much worse.

Remember seeing Pratley play for Swansea just behind the front two. My he looked good at playing the ball down the channels for a quick lad in front to run onto.

Yep - I've said elsewhere that it matters less who we sign and matters more what DF does with the players he has / can get.

most of the players we sign arent in the first team so i take it youre watching plenty reserve football

This Clayton fella doesn't seem to have a good scoring record. Whats the crack with him? Why have so many clubs had him on trial? Must be something about him.

Makes a good brew

Nor did Michael Ricketts. Would settle for another him. I think the consensus is this lad has a lot of potential

You could see the potential in Ricketts though. I remember my old man saying he would be a good un when he scored past us once.

Not seen this Clayton lad though so was just asking if anybody knows why so many clubs have been after him at some point. Didn't mean it as a negative etc.

So do these two count as the 75% of done deals Super Dougie said would be in place before pre season ?

He doesn't have a clue what he is doing and is now playing a live Champ Manager game with our club.

Am I alone, in being bored, of hearing about players 'attitudes'?

It's a "Managers" job to manage these players on & off the pitch, ultimately to get them playing right & with the right 'attitude'.

If they can't do that, then their not a Manager, they're a coach at best.

What's wrong with Hall's attitude? Do we know? I don't, though I'd guess I'd be close to knowing what it is. If it is what I think, I wouldn't be too hasty to just blame the player.

if it is his attitude then it's likely it's not been dealt with since he posted his face palm picture on twitter

dealt with as in, it's not improved much

agree that must be attributable to the manager as well, who's talked a good game about the lad for some time, but it looks like it's just not happening for either of them

Being a manager is about getting the best out of a team. If one member is disruptive then they get fucked off.

Admittedly there isn't a lot being achieved by the manager with his current tea,

Presumably Claytons unattached then - crewe would be due compensation due to his age so how can the BEN hint at a loan? if he's been unattached will he be match fit had a pre-season

Under 24, have to pay for the player's licence from the club, even if out of contract. That's likely to be where the cost is - he can't simply walk away. So if Bolton are being asked a fortune for that, might see a loan fee as a way to try before they buy.

See...I'm not just here to wind folk up about Nixon when I'm bored.
