Naytch Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Crewe want £1 million. We won't be getting him then. Quote
Pablo Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 We won't be getting him then. They will come donw on that, Sunderland & Wolves wont pay half that. Quote
passmosster Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 It's the starting point. They won't want to go to a tribunal because their awards are low with add-ons. Quote
hughmungus Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Crewe want £1 and a bag of Swizzels. We may struggle with the £1 Quote
Guest Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 We will go with what we've got. The players might be good enough Pity about the manager Quote
Rembrandt Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 The players might be good enough Pity about the manager Pretty much where I'm at right now. Which makes it a moot point who we do & don't sign. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 The real issue for me is that this another season when the youth team don't step up. A bit of action in nothing games last season, some preseason, but as soon as the real stuff starts, they aren't anywhere. By now these players should be at least challenging, if not playing. Which should have offset the need to scour the loan lists. But once again, they obviously aren't up to it. Quote

In fairness Kellett is only just coming back from injury (had a stormer in the U21's on Monday apparently) and Threlkeld at least played against Bury, and might well get more of a chance now McNaughton is injured. Zico Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I have not sen him play, why could he not get a game at Brum last year ? he got 11 from joining on loan at the end Feb not sure how many that means he didn't play but doesn't sound like he struggled to get a game doesn't matter anyway if he's not signing Quote

They had Burke playing wide right at ours and then ibe came on. Quote
L/H White Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) MANAGER ON IBE: "There are a few other clubs interested in Jordon now. It seems like we'll probably get pipped at the post." #BWFC MANAGER ON CLAYTON: "Max is training with us. We like him. We're one of a few clubs far away from Crewe's valuation." Ratwhite Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 We will go with what we've got. Waiting for that Beaut!! Crewe want £1 million. Please see Tylswhite comment above Quote
barrycowdrill Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 i wish Freedman/The club (delete accordingly) would fook off loitering around clubs like theyre waiting for a discounted chicken in Morrisons. identify a player, enquire, if it doesnt fit within our budget constraints, move on. If they feel we can do it, get it done! sick of our interest being made public, wait, lioter, bargain, get gazumped, end up with some other no mark. the actions of the club just antagonise and disappoint an already unhappy support base. always been the same no matter what level we're playing at...run at league 2 level. Garrp Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I have not sen him play, why could he not get a game at Brum last year ? I'm not sure to be honest. The only thing I can say is this is the same Lee Clark who kept on starting Jordan Rhodes on the bench in league one. Quote

Pretty much this. DF hung all his hopes on getting Juke. Everyone in the world knew that Boro wanted a million plus for him. We wanted another loan. Therefore everyone in the world bar DF knew he wasn't coming back. Juke eventually signs for Burnley and DF is left wringing his hands with no Plan B. In fact, you have to a long way down the alphabet to find a plan that fits Dougie's approach... Plan Tpot Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This Ibe lad if he's the one who came on for Brum looked a big physical athletic unit he's the one who inspired their fight back, shame if we miss out on him. Quote
