tylswhite Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Heskey turned down Carlisle, worth a punt? Id have him on the right money. His wages will be too much for his ability though I reckon. Quote

Guest Blixa Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 We must have spoke shit, has hes gone to Derby.... For all his comedy value, McClaren has a good record as a coach and on top of that, there's every chance he will still be the manager there at Christmas. Whereas at Bolton... Quote
tarian1979 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Have we signed anyone yet? we'll go with what we've got! Quote

Ratwhite Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Opening this thread is getting as desperate as looking at Newsnow.co.uk. Nothing to see her girls and boys, move along......................... Quote
Guest Blixa Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) BEN saying no one coming in until at at least the loan window. "Time to give youth a fling" "We'll go with what we've got" "FFP" You'll see a lot of the above this season. Unless we flog a few on deadline day. And even then I'd be doubtful any money would be spent. Edited August 30, 2014 by Blixa Quote
Biggish Dave Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Doesn't matter whether we get a transfer embargo or not, tight fisted Eddie won't spend any more Quote

Biggish Dave Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Irony Tyls, I think DF has pretty much said we will just about comply now with FFP but some still expect us to go out and spend. I'm not a big DF fan and still hope he proves us wrong and is actually a good Un, hopefully the quality of football will improve in time too. This whole max clayton thing and what Watford do shows what we are up against - and that's 2 shit clubs Quote
only1swanny Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 If you were ED.. would you give Freedman any money with his track record on buying players.. ?? Spearing had a cracking loan spell,, and now people are starting to criticise him.. Juke would have only gone the same way.. Quote

ex_midlandwhite Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Derby apparently have to pay Liverpool £0.5m if they don't play Jordan Ibe in a certain amount of games. Think that might have come from a Nixon story in the sun Quote
Blondi Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Owen Garvan at Palace being linked with us once again, the article is in today's Sunday People. He's an attacking midfielder, just incase you didn't know. Quote

Perhaps not, but if you're £160 odd million in debt, would another one or two make any difference ? For one million we could have had Juke before he went anywhere. He's a decent player for this league. Quote

It is not a case of Eddie wanting to spend his money, we are not allowed to spend. Quote
