So we now have a third option of viewing on 403 “the watch along” with professionals and fans passing comment with a twitter/news feed across the bottom. Different.... fair play sky trying a different interactive way to watch, not decided yet whether it’s decent or not....

Although I’d piss myself if all of a sudden I heard “Eyes Right....”

On 403 they’re not voting on the chant you’d want to hear on the crowd audio, maybe “Eyes Right” would get a shout then

He's a disgrace.

Might have a point re the defending, but what a cunt. What a great man manager he must be. Not.

I do wonder if it's a bit of an act really, hes a character, it creates interest and views. But does he really care that much?

I wonder who stuck that Black Lives Matter sticker on his jacket

I can imagine him snarling

😆 Keane cam when they took the knee would have been fun too. Eye roll!

You may well be right about it being an act.

I vaguely remember a story about him losing it whilst at utd over some quiz or other, and fergie laughing at him.

Not hinged right whatever the case.

I notice it happening with TV pundits a lot in last few years as if they're coached or encouraged to grow a personality.

Shearer went from dull to opinionated. Sutton went from miserable to still miserable but proper shouty on commentary. Owen has had a go as well round the time his book came out.

All that said though I still wouldn't fancy crossing Keane!

Me neither. There's no doubt he really is a moody fucker, but I agree that some of these pundits know they're being booked to play a role.

Great topic for another thread.  Agreed on Shearer, he seemed to flick a switch about 10 years ago and became "angry/opinionated".  Sutton has become a laugh a minute on 5 live, some of it good stuff, some of it forced.  That's where Ian Wright is an exception, his on screen personality is just him being him, total enthusiasm.  The worst of all the invented personalities is McManaman, I always feel its a complete act, having to appear interested and relatively eloquent.  Cant bear him.
