Winning the bundesliga with them isn't a challenge though

10 in a row and 16 out the last 23

Bundesliga is better quality but it's as competitive as Scotland

I wouldn't sacrifice being the PLs all time top scorer for that

If they won the CL fair enough

But there's more chance of that with Real

So if you're leaving the PL it should be for a shot at the CL

This assumes both them clubs are interested

Bayern might be but they'll be smashing their transfer record by some distance

If Real aren't, might as well stay here

At least he’d end up with silverware, rather than Tupperware

I suppose it's a question of what's more valuable to him

A bundesliga or an all time PL scoring record

I think he'd rightly choose the latter

But if Real are interested he'd be daft not to go there as they'd more than likely win titles and CLs in the next 5 years with him  top

If they aren't, might as well stay here for the record

Its not a challenge he needs, else estaying a Spurs would be perfect.

He could be the difference in them winning thye CL.

Scotland ??!! Now you are taking the piss. Its an Elite league, simple as that.

He wont cost too much now if he does not sign a new deal, £100 mill fee for him is way gone.

You push for Real....La liga is worse that German league at the moment....but ovcourse Real would be a great move.

Both clubs in top 5 on the planet, ever.

That is properly astonishing. Yet they're 5th !!

Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have all had poor seasons. Because of that united will get that 3rd/4th spot along with Newcastle. Not by being any good but by being less shit than the other 3 'big 6' clubs.

Rochdale; some sadness for them, but over 100 years in the league and have done very little. The most mediocre stay of any club?

Think it’s a bit sad really. Rochdale doesn’t have a lot to boast about and I suspect a football league club was right up there.

Except spurs are not in the CL next season

He's got to be challenging for titles and CLs

The stronger teams to do both are in Spain and England

If he's open to Bayern he might as well be open to PSG

The regular League matches aren't up to his standard though, in Germany or France

They'd reached as many League Cup Finals as Newcastle before this season.

They can consider themselves fortunate though. Survived re-election twice before the days of relegation from the (4th) division, and in their first season in league football (1920s) they were bottom and had to re-apply for membership.

That Championship playoff run looks pretty tasty.

Mad to think that there can be between 10 - 20 points between a 6th finish and 3rd finish and those in 6th can get promoted.

Some really small clubs/recently on their uppers clubs in there. And Blackburn.

Just noticed Chorley have a decent chance of getting in the National League North play offs.

Need to win their last game at Gloucester (that famous Northern city) and need another result or 2 in their favour.

Amazing that league...Darlington are 13th with one game to go and looking at the table it seems they can still go up!!

3 points off Scarborough in 6th with a better goal difference, will depend on other results obviously but still unreal.

If memory serves me right, Luton won the Conference at Hyde on the day we beat Sheff Weds away when Trotter scored a worldie. Some rise, that.

They had won as much as United in the last 5 (?) seasons, until the milk cup final last month.

And not spent over a billion pounds doing it.

Ridiculous post🤣

they have been in 4 finals in the last 14 years (1 less than real madrid)………winning 2 of them.

la liga is terrible at the moment, but still one of the top leagues.

Haaland is making the prem look easier that Germany too…

Such a typical english bias opinion, getting daft now.

bayern are fkin huge, winning titles in that country is the same as here.
