Not to downplay any win, but you can only win the 3 European trophies if you drop far enough from the top places to qualify for the Conference.  (I wonder how many clubs have played in all 3?).  

For a club of Chelsea's standing and recent history, they've been rewarded for failure with a fairly meaningless trophy, no Big 6 team in England or equivalent throughout Europe will be looking to emulate their "achievement".

Some of their fans see it like that on the socials / phone ins, not all by any means but some.

The big one is on Saturday. I've been convinced for a while it will be PSG's (basically since they landed Kvaradona) but Inter can be a tough nut to crack - especially if they get a lead.

It feels like their equivalent of us winning the Papa John’s. Nice to win, great day out but nobody’s losing sleep if you didn’t win it. Let’s be honest, for a team that expects to be in the Champions League, it’s below them. Main thing for them was that they’d already got Champions League for next year 

learnt a few days ago, clubs make no money whatsoever from the conference league, likely run at a loss after travel and hotel costs 

europa league teams will only make money from the 1/4 onwards
