They should give them their houses for free and let the tenants spend the housing allowance on ale and fags. It's a double edged sword my food friend. I see both sides. Private landlords across town in central Blackpool are borderline criminal. Their tenants live in squaller as its the only thing they can afford. Single women with kids living with no hot water or central heating. Their properties left to rack and ruin for years meaning the place looks like a shanty town. To me there needs to be more done to prevent rogue landlords operating. On the flip side we had a family of scrotes in our house that did one leaving a wrecked house and owing thousands. Quote

Give some food vouchers to make the difference up That way it incentivises them to take jobs so they can earn money and spend it how they like. At the moment there is little financial difference between claiming benefits and a NWM full time job Quote

When we first let our house out we got the rent direct in our bank from DSS. It was perfect. The lass we had in loved it that way. Everything was spot on. Soon as she started getting her hands on the loot first that's when it all went tits up. Giving a totally skint nob jockey £600 in her hand just before Xmas could only spell disaster. And it did.
