Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

Touché, you enormous twat.

:)

I am with Traf and Cheese.

This is the beautiful game. It's been fucked and farted with for far too long by oft faceless suited twats who have both over commercialised and sanitised it to such a degree that a number of us now get a far greater kick out of watching amateurs who are playing the game for love and (small potatoes) glory.

God forbid that our game now has to be analysed to the nth degree by the most boring fuckers on the planet - accountants.

Can't we just love the game once more and be pleased that our historic club has a future again without all this psycho-accountancy babble?

I agree with you too some extent, but I will confess to having an agenda here.

People are understandably angry at what has happened to our great club and some are concerned that something dodgy has gone on behind the scenes, i don't believe it has.

If i can use my experience from work to help reassure folk, it may help people stay on board during what will likely be another difficult period for the club.

As the man who coined the 51% rule you surely get this?

I do RRF and my comments weren't particularly aimed at you mate.

Everything is relative. Those of us who remember the really dark days of the old Fourth Division look at this through fonder eyes. We are way above that nadir at the moment and have another new start to get excited about.

No Income Statements, Asset Balance Sheets, Liabilities and Stockholders Equity Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, blah, blah, fucking blah, nor contemplating my navel whilst considering the actions of that honourable and proven Wanderer, Mr. Edwin Davies Esq will be allowed to detract from the small chink of light at the end of the tunnel I have seen after months of desperate disappointment.

Onwards, upwards and COYFWM.

I'm still going to renew with my lad as we enjoy it but I am anticipating a load of shite on the pitch, for the remainder of this season and next.

Anticipate away. Things can only get better and I am hopeful that you will be pleasantly surprised.

Cheers Bolty.

Lets hope we can get away from this sort of talk, that's more likely to happen if/when things are going well on the pitch.

How about it just stops today.

New dawn tomorrow

I'm not starting a new thread so I'll put it in here, who do we think is next for the financial meltdown? After Bury obvs, I'm going QPR.

Villa.

Can see Derby getting themselves in trouble if they dont go up. Decent home gates but they seem to of spent a fortune in recent seasons chasing the dream

Let's hope we are out of the woods. Villa or qpr looking good for it. Villas wage bill has risen to 80mill+ this season

they're loaded, no chance of that happening just yet

Fair enough, dont know their situation.

What about FFP? They must be close to failing that.

Forest.

Already got FFP problems and Dougie will have dished out big contracts again to his gifts to the fans otherwise known as dross.

I have no idea why but I have a soft spot for Villa - I would relish QPR sinking like a stone though!

Cardiff, QPR, Villa

All have problems ahead if they don't get promoted next season.

Blackburn

How are Toon & Sunlun fixed if they come down ?

£80mill???

Fucking Nora

They're doooomed

Boro could also have issues
