It'll be 2 years until we know that, be tough to get 100% qualification, but we should, doubt Slovakia will just defend like they did in the Euro game when at home, probably will do at Wembley, the rest well..

Pleased for him. Heard a comment from the the f.a. chap earlier; can't remember exactly what he said but was something along the lines of needing someone with a thick skin. It sounded like Sam was the man.

I'm proud that a Bolton man will be managing England, this makes him our greatest if there was any doubt.

It was a joke that less talented "yes men" McClaren and Hodgson were given the job before him.

I think and hope he will rise to the challenge.To match his achievement of taking Bolton from mid table 2nd tier to 6th in the Prem I think he'd need to take England to a final.He'll be considered a hero by the England public if he "only" reaches a semi final.

I am well pleased for England and Sam I felt he left BWFC badly at the end and that tainted my view of him as a manager however I now admit I was wrong he is a top top manager. Good luck Sam bring home the world cup.
