Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 my phone and broadband are with them so I'm tied for a bit with that but you're right, I may as well fuck the tv bit off. Every pound is a prisoner and all that My phone and broadband were too. Ditched the lot. Gone to ee, plusnet were also a decent alternative. Vigin like sky seem to want to throw sports in with any similar package which Wangs up the cost. At least now I'll get the option for a months subscription as a one off which might be worth it for a cricket series. Not lumbered with it with most of the days loaded with legends of cricket, football boxing etc on contestant repeat. Quote
DIPS Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I've just spent 15 minutes i don't have trying to find a working link on wookie. I'm getting sky sports back. This. The amount of pissing around I did trying to find hd quality streams for cricket and football would mean I missed out large chunks of the game starting. The streams would have foreign commentary or just be plain bad. Rather just pay 30 a month and be stress free. Quote
bgoefc Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Happy with BT for £15 a month. Fucked Sky off years ago. If there is a match on Sky I really want to see, I nip down the local. Zlatan is vastly overrated. Quote
Zico Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Zlatan is vastly overrated. In what way exactly Look at his record every where he's been Scores pretty much 1 in 2 and got plenty honours Ain't many better over the last time 15 years Quote

Always seemed a nice idea getting one 'over the man' from reprogrammable OnDigital cards to XMBC on an jailbroken apple TV, but the reality is it's a ballache - some repository or other bollox needing updating. Can't be arsed with that shite, it's not like I can't afford it. I like to park my arse on the couch, turn the telly on and it just work. Quote
kent_white Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Cancelled Sky and got a Humax freeview box which is actually miles better than I thought it would be. I'll miss Sky for the boxing but that's about it - at close to £100 a month they're massively taking the piss. Got a miles better Internet speed with Virgin and it's no problem 'sourcing' anything I want to watch. I've pretty much got no interest in the Prem now we're not longer in it. Quote
gonzo Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 In what way exactly Look at his record every where he's been Scores pretty much 1 in 2 and got plenty honours Ain't many better over the last time 15 years He doesn't run around enough or chase lost causes. All he does his score goals. And assist. And win 100's of trophies. Quote

Scorer of good looking goals which tends to elevate opinions of him. Never cut the mustard at Juve or Barca. A big player for medium sized teams in medium leagues. Never won a european trophy. Watched him closely in the two games for PSV against Citeh last April and he was anonymous for long spells and sulked his way through the defeat at the Etihad. Never showed for Sweden in their big games in tournaments. Just my opinion mind but I reckon he won't be at Old Trafford for more than this season. Quote

Aye he's a cunt but players like that often are, but his goals are a sign of his quality, like okocha for example He was good enough to play regular and win titles with juve and barca As for European trophies, maybe not but David may and Steve mcmanaman have CL medals so it's not the best benchmark, bit like those who say you're not world class unless you've won the world cup or euros You'd have to remind me of Swedens big games he disappeared in, don't think they were ever going far even if he was on form But He is a Munich cunt, granted Quote
Farrelli Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Zlatan story that is supposed to be true according to a Swedish colleague. When he first hit the big time he returned to Malmo city and went to a flashy house he had always wanted. Apparently he knocks on the door of this house and tells the bemused owner "what are you doing in my house?". He then proceeded to buy it in a name your price type manner. Arrogant tosser doesn't really cover it. Quote
