FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Mixed feelings about Dapo leaving, he's clearly not been at his best for one reason or another, but always been a game changer when needed, good luck to the lad wherever he ends up, just hope it's not to a rival league 1 club.

If there’s championship clubs involved making multiple bids then Dapo must want out. It’s a natural next step for him and you don’t receive multiple bids nowadays unless the player has said to his agent he is interested in the club making the bids. We’ve probably said he can go when valuation has been met and now it’s been met. It’s definitely the next step for him if he does go to the championship (unsure if St Pauli is a step up with where they are atm but are a pretty big club). If we can bring in 2/3 for the money then happy days.

I wonder how much ? IE must have a replacement in mind.

Fee hasn’t come out yet but anything around £750k and a sell on % is good business for me. Regarding a replacement there’s a few rumours around Ayoub Assal but don’t know how reliable they are.

Mixed feelings on this. Only time will tell. All the best to the lad.

Lets hope 1 is Cardiff now they are out of an embargo - surely they can afford £6m

As been said by a few many times, in the right position he’s a real asset and one of the best in the league. At the minute whilst still a threat we’re losing a large portion of his game. The squad can’t carry players not at / unable to play at, their maximum

his departure will sting more than any of the others but the side will be better for it as the money will be used wisely

BN sats "multiple bids accepted" - so I guess Dapo has to chose where to go.

I'd have been asking them to up the bids.

Maybe we should have made them all pay £5m

The fee will probably undisclosed as per normal .

£330k the fee is

Agreed Marc, although for me he’s got until the end of the season to prove that he can get back to his best / keep up with the rest of the squad or I’d be looking to move him on in the summer (not sure if he’s out of contract then anyway).

I was very hopeful when he signed Sheehan but he has not kicked on, looks lightweight and looking at his assists and goal record I think we need to look at replacing him, I would love to see Alfie May as a replacement.

Good luck to Baka , will miss his telescopic leg .Pity he didn’t have a telescopic head! Hope that comment isn’t a hostage to fortune.

£538k was quoted, but regardless, if two or three are all offering the same amount as implied, why shouldn't the club encourage increased offers to seal the deal?

Depends where Dapo prefers to go and whether that club would want to increase?

had a bid accepted and he’s chosen you you aren’t increasing anything are you

Any increase to sway the decision would be to Dapo around wages rather than us

LOL - they still have to pay the balance of the fee for Sala - another £8 million down the pan.

Baka gave us some great moments last season & I never doubted his effort but not quite good enough & the writing was on the wall when we signed Nlundulu. Good luck to him.

Dapo is very good on his day but rarely has " his day ". The diving, arguing with refs & poor decision making.....shooting when he should pass, dribbling when he should shoot,  passing when he should  dribble etc......has tested patience.

I like him & wouldn't have been against giving him more time but can understand why we would take the money for a player who can't make the starting x1 & doesn't seem to be progressing. Good luck to him as well ( if he's gone )

I think Dapo elbowed that guy deliberately so he wouldn't have to play TBH.

Fact of the matter is with no sign of changes being made to our formation or finding a position within it to get the best out of him and let him enjoy his football again him signing any extension in the next 6 months is highly unlikely. Makes complete sense to take the money now for him. We’ve taken advantage of a few players recently in their last 6 months and paid peanuts. Glad the club isn’t taking that gamble

Fair point but it does imply the valuation was a bit low. That said, if it was £538k as per the German media we can hardly complain as we've made a good profit on him.

I think that fee quoted in the German press was his value on Transfermarkt. And I thought the article said offer would need to be higher than that? Might be wrong on though?

If it is based on Transfermarkt then the actual price could be almost anything - it's usually miles out :)

Kenneth would have squeezed the last penny out of it and then told dapo were he was going . Shaz a soft touch

All gone quiet on John? That’s some wages we need to get rid of no plans

I'll be amazed if Dale Vince coughs up the Baka money :)

Still a couple of weeks to go although there's plenty going on today. I'm really excited now to see who is brought in and how committed the owners are.

On that note, isn't it next week when FV have to reveal who they've sold the shares to? It would be good to know who is actually involved in FV now.
