He completed a medical and agreed terms at the weekend, but played in BWFC friendly tonight?

He needs better bait than that.

Yeah I’d be surprised too but Wolves didn’t work out as planned and he needs a settled spell again. Be interesting to see whether we consider him RWB or a long term replacement for Jones at RCB.

Agree on wolves and i took a poss permanent dislike to him the night our kids played, but hes dropping no further than top end first team in our league

He was at Scunthorpe last season and has done nothing in his career to suggest he would improve us

He played for our B team tonight as a trialist

Seriously?

Itll be my own shit, please  :)

still dont think hes going to come in at that level

Maybe overhyped due to goal at united, but even so

If he does, all credit to him and id probably reduce my opinion to temporary dislike

Quote from that report:

Former Wolves and Rochdale youngster Luke Matheson featured for Wanderers as a trialist during the first half.

during the first half

So, hes shit, get him off

Or, hes better than this, want him training tomorrow

Either way, if he signs for our b team, id feel like his attitude must be spot on

Needs a haircut

He was playing under Hill, wasn't he?

It could be he returned to play under the manager who gave him his big break in the hope he gets his mojo back and it didn't quite work out rather than it being indicarive of his level

It'd be some fall from grace if not, though

He wasn’t anything special tonight, the number 9 who played wide left second half was better, no idea who he was though.

A Trialist?

Subs are named in the BN report

There was a big black lad CF one trial lists im thinking the other was longish hair lad very quick who had number 9 shirt but was wide left.

I mentioned Matheson weeks ago as the type I'd look at to replace Bradley. Not sure he'd starting straight away but I'm sure he'd be a very capable backup to Cogley and still get plenty of minutes under his belt

Apparently Wolves paid £1 million for Matthewson, he must have plenty of potential.

Or Premiership clubs have money to burn.

He may be worth a punt, but we've had failed youngsters before ... some are diamonds, some are coal.

He seemed like a player when he first broke in to the Rochdale first team when he was 16, scored a goal at old trafford in the cup for them, looks like he's stagnated since with a few loans not really hitting the heights he looked like he would.
Could be worth a punt as he's only 20 now and obviously has something about him

Wolves released him at the end of the season so looks like it could be a signing rather than a loan, and by the looks of it one for the B team rather than first team.

No chance, if we do sign him, that we're signing him for the B team.

Likewise.

Lad who broke into Rochdales first team at age 15 and scored against Man Utd in Carabao Cup

Even scored against us in January 2020

got sold to Wolves for £1m only to be sent out on loan numerous times, with nothing spectacular to show for it, and now released after his loan last season at Scunthorpe
