I'd be happy with most former Championship players if they have the energy and quality we need, but coming from the north side of Bolton, Rovers are to me what Wigan are to some on here and I just don't like Dack in particular, not because he wasn't a very talented player before his knees turned to glass but because he did so well for them and I was frequently reminded of it - mainly by former Wanderers fans who switched allegiances when Rovers bought the title and the boundaries were changed - reminds me of David Dunn who is an asshole. That said, the best thing ever to come down the A666 was John Byrom who I idolised.

I don't think we'd pay him more than our wage structure allows although Trafford got £8k - which I think should have been enough to get Baccus - and I've not seen anything about this rumour other than the comment on here.

If there is any substance to it and we do end up signing him I'll be focusing on what he does for us on the pitch, but personally I don't like him - simple as.

I can’t imagine many people switching allegiances from Bolton to Blackburn.

Not saying it didn’t happen,  1 or 2 nobbers maybe, but they wouldn’t be the type of fans we’d want anyway.

Not keen on these Dack rumours.

The bloke was class 5 years ago, but in the last 3 seasons in total he’s played just over 50 league games, scored 8 & assisted 2.

Turton area mainly. Traditionally BWFC through and through but when the boundary changes happened it switched councils to Blackburn and they started a bus service to B'burn which over time became the default shopping destination for many in that area. The next generation of kids grew up with them buying the league.

Ironic as there's some historical evidence to suggest that the Wanderers - and Turton  (splitters ) started off in Chapeltown on the Old Bolts ground before moving nearer town and adopting the new rules.
