He was always going to go Pre season with the Liverpool first team, I’d say it’s looking likely he gonna go back on loan when fit and we’ve not allocated his squad number from last season yet.

Not necessarily.  He might be at Liverpool till 31st August trying to establish himself, and who can blame him. 

His 2nd choice is presumably at least championship level, but Liverpool will want some guarantees that he's going to play regularly, and realistically that's a big ask even for a PNE or Blackburn to say your our right back for the season.  He may only get his "3rd choice", coming back here!  He knows he'd start every game he's available and I'm not sure that applies higher up.

Well trafford did 2 seasons and is stock rose massively after the 2nd season so I suppose Liverpool could look at that 

Evatt saying we could have another signing in before the Lincoln game implies to me that it must be near enough done and dusted.

He's surely not daft enough to come out with a statement like that after what happened with Baccus and WIlson unless he's pretty damn sure it's a done deal.

Lusty,  we have been here before with very similar words when he knew the Mendes Gomes deal was sorted.   Of course he isnt gonna say out like that if there was nothing sorted, Thursday/Friday watch for the cloudy blue lighting video.

I’d have thought so and I think we’re clutching at straws with that one. It’s not impossible but I’m sure Liverpool want him a little higher up the leagues for his next test. I don’t actually believe we need another RWB as we’ve got DC, Jones, Forrester and Sadlier who can all play there and we’re equally well stocked on the left so I suspect the most likely incomer will be an MJ replacement and with the time is taking probably a loan. It would certainly be great to see Brad back though and a massive lift for everyone.

If I were Klopp, but without the beard & weird teeth & perv glasses & not wearing a baseball cap or talking shite most of the time, I'd be impressed what a youngster did last season, want a close look at him pre-season & then look to loan him to a Championship side, or a lower level Premiership one.

Exactly.  This theory that if he was coming he would be here now seems odd, does that mean every transfer that's going to happen this summer has already happened?  The deadline is 31st August, and if a player or manager want more time to decide there's another window opening 4 months later.

I'd be very underwhelmed if it's Ethan Hamilton coming back. He may have improved as a player since he was here but I can't separate the player from the nightmare of Anderson, Keith Hill and that relegation season to L2 team in my mind so I'll probably need several sessions of intoxicant therapy to come to terms with it.

The undercurrent of improved transfer budget gossip that's been touted has raised my expectations and Hamilton won't meet them.

Played a few games for us on loan from Manure in 2019 and TBF he was OK - no more - but that was in a struggling Keith Hill team in the Anderson shitfest era which had a 12 point deduction to cope with and yet was relegated 22 points off safety.
