I think you're being dramatic and over egging Gary Madine.

Struggling to see how saying he's critical is over-egging it. 

 

He's scoring goals and winning us crucial games. Even aside from that his workrate and ability to lead the line is critical to how we play. We saw last season how we struggled without him. When Le Fondre came on for the last few minutes against Hull, a knackered Madine still covered more ground than him. 

 

Yes there are other players about who are similar. But they cost a lot of money, and probably will go to bigger clubs than us.

I’d be surprised if Sunderland wanted to sign madine on a 6 month contract...

According to the Sunderland echo Coleman can only make loan signings and Dave Cotterill is his first. Wolves after Gabbadon who is on loan from Bournemouth.

I think Sunderland will be bringing in welsh players eg Cotterill & Woodburn given Coleman links.

Agree but if Jordan Hugill is rated at £8 million then the current crazy market price could value Madine at least at £5 million

I do think Parky has had a really good effect on Madine, and not sure how much Madine would want to go at the moment. Though obviously money talks.
