Alonso actually played well for us at some point.

Especially during his last couple of months

 

Derik has scored a goal at Crewe and had one good game away at charlton.

Yes he's critical. He was critical last season. Totally agree.

But all the other stuff makes you sound like his dad.

 

He's had a few good games fair enough. The rest extremely questionable.

 

All this covering ground, running and running stuff your on about? God knows what your on about. He's just a big lump in a struggling side doing ok for the past few games. Nothing more.

Disagree. He absolutely bossed the last two games. He looked a class above the other players on both sides.

 

In this form he’s one of the best in this division. Can he keep it up? Big question. But 9 goals and 5 assists is still a bigger contribution than anyone else we’ve got will manage.

I came away from the game on Monday genuinely thinking if Madine was capable of playing like that on a regular basis, he could do a job at a higher level.

 

Granted I was coming down from an 18 hour session, and I’ve since realised I must’ve somewhat overrated him. Nonetheless, I maintain that to get rid now to a relegation rival would be suicide for our season, and if you don’t believe that with the way Parky plays then there’s something wrong.

Pratley is out for two months with a broken leg.

Henry is expected to miss 2/3 weeks with a hamstring strain.

Vela being linked with all and sundry.

I think we need to keep Derik.

with Ameobi, Noone and Buckley available it's no great loss and frees up a slot to potentially bring in something we haven't already got

 

or someone to replace Pratley (6 weeks) and Henry (3 weeks)

Not too bad with the cup in between. If henry only misses a couple of league weeks we might manage, especially if we get another in.

Was impressed with Cullen which is a bonus.

If Taylor gets back, could Robinson do a job in midfield temporarily- bit of pace and relieved of some defensive discipline?
