Pretty much my thoughts.

If they're looking elsewhere, then so should we.

Of course in the meantime, if they remain professional then we shouldn't cut our nose off to spite our face, and play them as required.

Presume if Baxter goes we're back to where we were in the summer - needing another keeper.  Of all the players rumoured to be leaving, he's the only one that we don't have a replacement in the squad for (I'm discounting Coleman as he seems to have disappeared and anyway wasn't considered a good enough no.2).  For that reason I'd be amazed if he leaves, its not like we'd get much of a fee.

Colemans been back training with the squad for the past 2 games..

I'd assume whatever reason he's not been seen seems to have left the club.. strange that..

Free Santos from taking the ball from the keeper and tell him to clear the ball with his head and feet and not to worry about starting the play and we would have one hell of a defender

Santos loved playing for Evatt. Evatt took him from the scrap heap and turned him into a hell of a player. He’s so invested in Evatt that he’s regularly played when he wasn’t fit enough

Watch his reaction after Collins late winner v Blackpool for evidence.

He’s keen to get back to London. And wasn’t at all happy with the way a section of fans blamed him for the Oxford defeat (I don’t blame him). Sometimes fans get the players they deserve, and the idiots who vilified him post Oxford effectively put paid to him signing a new contract. Now Evatt has gone, I don’t see he has any emotional tie. I guess it’s possible we get promoted, new manager loves him and he signs a new deal, but I think the ship has sailed.

New manager can decide how to use him I guess. He’s been our most important player over the last 5 years in my opinion.

Evatt had plenty of players on the pitch with injuries.

Sometimes clearly hampering their performances.

Posters on here have felt Santos himself appeared injured.

Never understood it.

Nah, if that’s true get it done.

I see Caleb Taylor has signed on loan at Wycombe again for the rest of the season. Good signing that for Wycombe and I wonder if they’ll come back in for Morley before the window closes?

They can fuck off. He's been great since he came back, and looks to be enoying himself again. One of Evatt's best decisions was sending him out for half a season.

If Wycombe had some cash he wouldn’t be our player anymore. Evatt was just lucky as well as a terrible man manager.

Don’t disagree but money talks and we need players in.

They do have money. Owners have lots of it apparently.

Whether they're prepared to spend it is another matter.

Supposedly turned down £6mil from Luton for Kone, if they needed money he'd be off.

Wycombe do have cash. They just weren't willing to meet our valuation. Tough shit.

Fair enough. They obviously didn’t want to pay our price. We are lucky to still have Morley though.

Good. I would rather we kept our better players and fortunately Evatt is not here anymore to waste them.

Agreed. Nothing to do with luck though. He's got 2 and a half years left on his contract, which was signed under Evatt. If it was running out at the end of this season, he'd be a Wycombe player now.
