We can only see how he shapes up, as has been said, Schumacher has no doubt given it the ok over the last few days, so must reckon he can get him doing something useful soon enough.  I do agree though, if you end up doing Jan window business in the last day or two they're usually ones who've been playing, so they can make a contribution over 18 games, not a dozen.

No point being better than somebody else if you're lay on the treatment table

Real head scratcher this one. Nowhere near ready to contribute and he's now our financial and physical responsibility. The idea of loan signings, is that you need them. But we can't play him until pretty much the end of the season.

If a player comes in fit, then gets injured for a quarter of year, he usually goes back. We've done the opposite. I can't understand it

From what I've read/heard, he's fully recovered from his hamstring injury, just not match fit. He'll be playing soon enough. It's rare you get a loan player in who's fully fit. It's one of the reasons they get sent out on loan in the first place.

Pleased with Etete and hopeful he comes good.

Wouldn't mind selling Sheehan now, given his age and having other playmakers in the squad, but I won't believe the rumour until the money's in the bank.

I know absolutely nothing about him until he was linked, did the traditional youtube scouting, which as we know is fool proof...

I don't think I've ever been frustrated watching someone's highlights before but there we are!

He reminds me of like a lower league Zirkzee for anyone that's had the misfortune of watching them lot this year. Won't be too negative on the lad, maybe the drop down a league will open things up for him, but for all his size doesn't seem to play with the most physicality, seems to drift himself away from goalscoring positions to get on the ball.

Hope we get him to just focus on getting on the end of the build up play we're capable of and he can do the business.

Video I just watched whilst he's barely ever in goal scoring positions, he does seem to do a lot of back to goal hold up play which is what we're moaning about no one being able to do.

Nothing to lose, take until May have a look at him....let him go or sign him on a longer contract

win, win

Signed a new Cardiff contract today - so if he's crap no risk of a Dan situation, but equally strictly a rental it seems

In which case it tips the balance more in us doing them a bit of a favour and might mean they're covering a chunk of his wages. If it's low cost low risk and he could do a bit of a job now and then, makes more sense.

Changes the goal posts. slightly...We have no way of knowing if we have a price agreed with Cardiff he does well

Would suit all parties.

Needs games and will need time to settle in

I'd let Sheehan go for fair money. I like him - but I think he flatters to deceive sometimes. And doesn't contribute in the way I'd expect him to as frequently as I'd like.

I'd keep pretty much all the squad as we know most are decent and now we have a new manager so be good to see if he can get the best out of them

get the best out of Sheehan consistently and we're onto a winner

get him playing a similar role as he does for Wales which I believe is different to the one he plays for us and he looks good for it

Really don’t understand this view that we can do without Sheehan. He’s the best we have at holding and moving the ball in midfield. Another who may be perceived differently under a new manager and system, in my opinion.

All depends what Schumacher wants. If he likes Sheehan and will utilise him then it’s a no brainier to stay. If he has a different view then he’s one I think clubs would pay for.

It’s close but, yes.

Comley 10 League Two appearances, White  9 and Darcy 8.

The fact the pair of them were useless, was an early red flag against Evatt. For all Darcy hasn’t yet ripped up trees, he’s just signed for Wigan. Whatever happened to those two?

Those stats don't tell the story.   According to Wiki, Darcy only started 1 league game that season.  I have a vague recollection of it, a night match in 2nd half of season, and he didn't look like Maradona, and wasn't seen again, he'd had his chance.  Admittedly we'd signed better players by then, but he was completely overlooked pre-January for non league standard players.

remember him running the ball into the corner seeing a game out when he had a chance to break on goal and Evatt praising his 'maturity'.

The fop-haired pie eating tosser.

Exactly my thoughts.

So good pal we can trust management decisions again.

Chuffed you are back on board and got your mojo back.

I’ll look out for you tomorrow mate 👏

Without doing the Youtube check, I'm getting Makakula and Fabian DeFreitas vibes from your research - built well, look athletic, but not necessarily co-ordinated!

Its a free hit as far as I'm concerned, IE spent £2mil on 3 strikers that aren't/weren't good enough, so a loan for 3 months isn't a concern when we have plenty options up front.

Rexham really pushing it today,   sam smith and now agreed deal for Jay Rodriguez.

Read something earlier that they had issued 1 share to someone in receipt of £3m investment. Have done something similar previously although they received £11m in that instance
