enzo gambaro Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 A lot of what Vela brings to the table is his physicality, he starts the pressing at the top of he pitch. Chunky is a wonderful footballer but does not offer you that.Has he put a bit of weight on, then? Quote
Whites man Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Has he put a bit of weight on, then? Ah, it's my pet name for him, you should hear what he calls me. Quote
Rizlar Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I don't think Cullen will be coming back West Ham have loads of injuries in midfield. Quote
radcliffe white Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Is there nobody we can get on loan who has some physicality about them Cullen this lad from Everton Just too lightweight I’d take another journey man like Henry who can read the game and put a foot in Quote

I’d have him and Burke back after their less than brillliant start. However looks like we may have to search elsewhere now Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I’d love chungy back but I’d be shocked if we pulled it off to say the least. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Would also love to see chungy back. Can’t say Ive heard much of mutch. Quote
Rizlar Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 According to reports Mutch is more of a creative midfielder played for several clubs QPR Birmingham, Reading also subject to some decent transfer fees just doesn't seem to be getting a game at Palace he coould be a decent signing. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Think Chungy is exactly what we need, par Ameobi, we seriously lack creativity in the midfield. Vela has been inconsistent, and then you’ve got Henry, Pratley, Buckley, and Derik, which don’t offer creativity. Having chungy down the middle or on the other side, would also take pressure of Ameobi, to make things happen Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Does Chungy not offer the same energy as vela with more skill - watching those stoke clips from the 90’s god we miss midfielders who could pass its a lost art and tommo poetry in motion - when was the last time we had a midfielder who could really handle the ball? Quote

Lostock Whites Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I still think we haven’t looked the same since sparky left. It’s really simple, but we just don’t have any player who picks the ball up from defence and drives at the opponents. Our players are terrified of the prospect of passing it forward. I honestly would get chungy and another little creative midfielder on top of that. That’s if we can afford. Quote

Rizlar Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Got that wrong agree with above, both chungy and according to reports Mutch brings creativity. Quote

You mean the physio’s Table hasn’t looked the same And Ameobi doesn’t carry it and run at defenders? Quote

Sparky hasn't left. he's out of contract and still not fit to train or play, currently still getting his rehab at the Macron. Quote
Walkden White Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 With regards to Chungy he's not played any first team football for a while now. We all want to believe he'll be the same player we remember and I'm not sure that will be the case. Quote
Farrelli Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 If he is fit and training at a Premier league team he will probably be in decent shape although match fitness is different. It is a risk worth taking IMO, may take a few games but he is still a quality player at this level.. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Last time I saw him for Palace he was setting up the opposition with an easy goal with a pass towards his goal to no bugger in particular. Quote

famouswanderer Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Jesus christ id rather have Heskey playing the number 10 role than that shyster Mavies. Quote
Marc505 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Tyler Walker signing on loan. PACE! (Gazza Crompton has already condemned him as "fucking shit") Quote
famouswanderer Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Hodgson has confirmed a first team player will be leaving on a loan deal in the near future. Could it be Chungy? Quote
