We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Kenny started up front for Celtic in the League Cup, last night. I'd be very surprised if he's coming to us, now.

Pat Bonner after the game.

We still need to find a striker who puts the ball in the back of the net," he said.

"Johnny Kenny played tonight and he didn't really have one on target, even though there were lots of crosses“

Me too .

Only thing he ever did that I didnt like was celebrating in front of the empty away end . We knew what point he was making but it wasnt our fault the away end was empty .

Not many players I still hate but Malkin , Evans , & Lyttle will always be on my shit list.

Presume you hate Lyttle because of Walker's injury?

Even though Lyttle was stood about a yard away from Walker and had nothing to do with it

Walker just turned awkwardly and his stubs got caught in the turf

Sounds right up our street.

Too right, we love a non scoring striker.

That doesn’t tell us anything.

”didn’t really have one a target”. What does that mean? He either did or he didn’t.

How many of these crosses connected with him? Or did they just sail two feet over head, two yards behind or in front of him, or hit the defender a yard in front of him.

if he’d missed three golden chances, I’m sure he’d say this; but he doesn’t!

Gonna be gutted if we sign this Kenny

Think it all depends if Celtic bring anyone in supposedly there looking to strengthen then he can go out on loan .

Problem is if it goes down to dead line day we could end up with fuck all when your looking at a chain of players moving about

Now we've signed Cisokko and Burstow has stated his intent to play up top, with Dalby to come back, am not sure where Kenny would fit in

Probably up front

Aye but 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice?

Dalby has a hamstring issue. Once these start, they can easily become recurring.

A lone 9 putting in a shift is likely to be tired at 75 minutes, so we need a 9 on the bench. To have two fit 9s in the matchday group each game, we need three in the squad.

McAtee does not look to be an option, unless things click quickly.

Dalby bearing fitness, Burstow looking promising, McAtee can provide cover there.

Maybe it’s something we can revisit in January

In a perfect world CMG and Mcatee would toddle off this window

Yeah but as you know there’s still a risk he will end up here on loan.

He only comes if SS wants him to.

We either trust SS or don't.

Time yet for us to get better- and we need to- and if that includes this chap, then so be it.

Tbh it’s a player who can play the number 10 role is also what we need as at present we don’t have anybody unless Dempsey can be the man.

We need players out first. If you include the youngsters who have featured so far and in pre-season and injured players there's about 32

Completely forgot about Dempsey.

Gabiadini needs to be on that list too.

Coleman would agree.

Chuck Pedro Richards on it too.

Apparently he gets a review from the knee specialist next Thursday. It'll either be 'all systems go' or 'sorry, you need that operation'.

With Sheehan, Dempsey, Morley Randall & McAttee all theoretically capable in that midfield anyone asking for another should get a slap.
