FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Don't do twatter, so no idea.

Does seem odd though that nothing has been announced, unless it's quite an old picture.

Has he not got roundabouts to paint?

Assuming we do sign another striker this week, which surely we will and let’s assume it’s Sam Nombe, whose place would be most vulnerable, Dalby or Burstow? With potentially 5 strikers then if we include McAtee and Forss they would surely all struggle to find a place even on the bench. Can we even afford to keep them all on what must be decent wages or will at least one have to go? The original idea this season was to use some of our younger players as back up but as we are neither the likes of Lawrence or Abimbola will get a look in.

Don’t think we can send Forss back (or Cissoko) so we have to pay for them two. Burstow is the same. If we could some money back I would off load McAtee

My view and it is only that. If we bring in another Forward he will be paired with Dalby for two reasons, Dalby is here long term. Both Burstow and Forss will be gone in the summer and i would not rule Mcatee joining them.

The second reason he is probably the best of a bad bunch. Might not see Forss again and Mcatee seems to be better off the bench. Burstow is the one most at risk but i think he may edge Mcatee away from the bench

If Forss injury is as bad as reports are saying then he will no doubt head back to Middlesboro to be looked after by Middlesboro medical team same with ADC at Brighton.

That would be a silver lining if it had to be that way as if they’re longer term injuries as is likely they’d be far better at home and under the care of their parent club.

That’s what usually happens once the extent of the injury is known.

Tell them its a really bad one, if they assess and say oh it's only a knock we could say "oh we thought you meant the player".

Yes Dalby is looking better with a run of games…..who’d have thunk it 🤷‍♂️

He is usually good O'Rourke

I'm thinking he's meant to type championship club surely?

We'd still be on the hook for paying them though

There's not a chance in hell he'd leave this window.

He's the whole heartbeat of our team and only player who can control the ball.

Normally an agreement is reached regarding wages etc would save us some money and we may be able to bring a couple more in on loan that’s if they both have bad injuries.

Aye, I thought the same about him, It would make more sense if it was championship

We've still got to pay for them. Exeter still paid us when CMG was out for 3 months

Might be time for a smug face and digging out a post or two from weeks back about him 😂. A fair run and playing to his strengths was all he needed to at least be a solid asset. No world beater but not a dud either.

Say what you will but i'd take Aaron Collins 10/10 over Dalby

This comes from a reliable source of a kid in his bedroom in-between w@nks.

Sheehan rumours might not be too far off the mark, i heard we've looked at some bloke called Longstaff from Canada, who wants to come back to England.
