Jon Taylor is a very decent winger at this level, I've noticed him a few times on TV for Rotherham.  Its annoying that the likes of Pringle, Hobbs, Conway and O'Neill could be excellent, cheap signings that anyone in our position would snap up, but we cant even offer basic rubbish wages till this damn takeover is done.  Presumably the couple of new players that started at Wycombe are getting virtually nothing from us in the short term. 

For what it’s worth, the roversss at work rate Conway and I think they’ve just signed downing. He can play on either wing.

Hobbs has signed already and he’s a decent player at this level, no doubt us resigning Hobbs will have played a part wheater deciding his time was up and him leaving for Oldham. Edit. Apparent wheater was offered a deal but turned it down.

Murphy will comfortably do a job in L1. It's not sexy or exciting but this is where we are at right now.

Would folk prefer an untested, inexperienced kid, al la Eddie Brown? The poor lad worked his bollocks off at Wycombe but couldn't compete with the physicality of their centre halves.

Murphy is at least as good as Clayton Donaldson and he was playing in the Championship.

Not sure playing is the right word to use 

Just don't get Luke Murphy myself, how he's earned a decent living from playing football, I'll never know.

I was scratching my head wondering how desperate could Hull be to sign a Div 1 player like him.  But its who you know, Hull manager McCann played for Northern Ireland.  Jobs for the boys, give him a 2 year deal on a free, sell him after 1 year for £250k, its like having a player to cover for injuries for no cost.  

He's not on a free is he? A years wages will be at least 250k and then when he's done fuck all you have to try to get that back in a transfer with his value on a downward trend. Bad business for me.
