We would be outcasts, the nation everybody would ignore, we would have foot shortages , army on the streets, deep economic recession etc.

That's a bit rich, when you're still on about your foot. 😆

The deal was agreed in quick time, despite of Brexit and the uncertainty around it, which you people said wouldn't happen in the memory of man. We would be outcasts, the nation everybody would ignore, we would have foot shortages , army on the streets, deep economic recession etc

Those would've been the consequences of crashing out on 29th March last year - which was looking very likely at one point. Thankfully, a majority of"Democracy-Deniers" in Parliament voted to force an extension, otherwise it would've been an utter shitshow.

Aberdeen Angus yesterday

Lancastrian free range chicken this evening.

Locally sourced water (tap)

Home baked bread made with English flour.

Bet you're having some mass produced European nonsense like Dolmio, you gastronomic traitor.

Trade deals are good. Let's be very clear on that.

But we should want better ones, or why leave?

By settling for the same, you are merely showing the lazy, backward traits of our EU counterparts.

Personally, I strive for more. Aspirational Brit through and through.

Remember Bob Mills ?

God knows why, but he's just followed me on twitter.

Can’t say I know him?

Had a latenight show in the 90's called "In Bed with Me Dinner". And he presented "Win, Lose or Draw". That was the pinnacle of his TV career. He's more known for his work on radio I think.

Didn't he present Games Master or something like that? A show about computer games?

Refers to himself as a comedian on Talksport but I can't recall him ever doing anything that could be called comedic.

Always thought he did some kind of football show in the 90's, possibly with Danny Baker, could be totally wrong though.

Are you thinking about Under the Moon? That was Danny Kelly. Your stalker used to be on fighting talk on radio 5 and was a stand up.

Yeah I am the one with a selective memory. There have been reactions when the Govt have said no deal is an option but the vast majority have said there will be a deal. There are so many interrelated transactions there has to be a deal of some type. No deal is only  an outcome if the Govt is incompetent

Plenty have asked what constitutes a good deal and tbf Mounts he has given his view. No doubt you will do the same ? The NI border as mentioned seems the toughest so include that as well in your answer.

I see you have resorted to calling people who ask questions ‘democracy deniers’. How is that going with your mate Mr Trump ? Let’s not be selective with memories maybe you will repeat your comparison with Theresa May and Maggie ?

You don't agree that the efforts to overturn the Brexit referendum result could be labelled democracy denying? Give over FFS.

Give it a rest. Are you really going to post a link every time there is some news of a trade deal ? Everyone wants us to have trade deals it is not part of ‘winning’.
As you and everyone knows the key deal given our geography and existing trade is what we agree with the EU. In the short/medium term that is the daddy. Let’s hope that helps us maintain as close to current terms as possible.
Although I am sure a deal to allow us to import Vegamite, sunshine, surf boards, arrogance and convicts is what we need. 😁😘👍
No doubt Bolty is down there fighting our corner.

Only when I can afford to take time away from the WA Secessionist movement and our efforts to make WA a dominion of Britain.
