Spider Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Can we change our cards back to that good hand we had in 2016? Seem like we’ve ended up with a duff set. Quote

You've not been paying attention, it's all going as planned, we're taking it right to the wire with the EU.....we'll even go beyond the deadline if we have to, that's what we've always said.........I think Quote

At the end of the day, they all want to be able to sell it back at their respective homes that they got a good deal for their side. Aye, just reading similar, Macron ready to Veto the deal, which wouldn’t be good news But then I remembered that France don’t have sovereignty and Brussels controls everything so Macron can’t do anything about it But then I also remembered the sovereignty argument was a load of old bollocks, France have a veto and can stop anything they don’t like, just like we had a veto and could have done the same at any point All very confusing this sovereignty stuff Quote

It’s our water, they want to fish in it It’s their banking system, the city of London wants to fish in that Edited December 4, 2020 by birch-chorley Quote

Best think he can do is call a halt to the talks, make it quite clear that unless they want to move position no point in wasting more time. I’m very happy with the current state of play, delighted in fact. Edited December 4, 2020 by Mounts Kipper Quote

Now it needs the actual head honcho's to agree the final bargaining chips. We will give some, they will give some. There will be a deal I think at the last minute and both will actually be unhappy with the end result but will say it is a good deal for both sides. They will both eat shit sandwich for the greater good so to speak. Quote

Fucking WOW You don’t give a fuck that we could have utter carnage at the borders because of some empirical bullshit over fishing. You don’t care about anything other than some nostalgic vision of a Britain that only exists in episodes of Dads Army, that’s the truth. Retarded. Quote
leigh white Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Ha ha, watching Newsnight and this is going so swimmingly well for the UK, I just hope those ships from our new trading partners can deliver our needs in a month. Quote

Spider Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 It’s a clusterfuck Anyone who thinks it’s ok to piss about and leave British businesses guessing like this doesn’t have the iq or the understanding of the impact. Quote

So the goods you export to Europe - you’d be happy to lose thousands of pounds so we can stick two fingers up to some Europeans you’ve never met? Quote
