Both probably, each side is as bad as the other, though. Let's not get like Mounts and make out all the issues are on the EU side, and we've been honourable and easy to deal with all through the process. Both sides have been piss poor in my opinion

Don’t think all the issues caused by EU, just most. 👍

Has Ursula possibly cracked the door open a little more?

Hope so.

What’s been said?

let’s make no mistake. Neither side want no deal. That’s what I’m clinging onto

Apparently she was sexting with Boris last night. Looks like it’s her turn on the glass table 💩

The UK doesn't have to follow EU rules in a deal.

Obviously might be some trade offs with that, but it might provide a new angle.

You got a link to it pal? Please

Found it. Interesting. And very interesting it comes after talks with merkel

Last night's newsnight and the report just on the news were very interesting. A more factual approach, with greater detail as to what the EU is claiming and comparing it to the new deal agreed in the far East by Japan etc.

Far East one doesn't have common standards, but doesn't have completely free trade.

The information provided does indeed suggest the EU is taking an unduly hardline approach.

Well see what happens.

You would imagine out of all the eu leaders merkel carries most power. At present I think Germany out of the eu countries has  most to lose by not having a deal? If I’m wrong somebody please correct my thinking.

He is one of the funniest people I've ever met - having grown up with him at school.

He's got that brilliant mix of being a bit thick but also playing that he's being a bit thick so that I never really know whether he's being serious or not!

He revels in it! 🙂

I think Ireland have the most to lose in terms of trade % but Germany and Netherlands top the list in terms of money if I recall correctly.

Thanks pal. It was monetary value I was thinking of. Merkel will rightly be pushing for the best outcome for Germany. Seems she carries a fair amount of sway as well if the article is right.

I thought Holland was a red herring as most imports go via Rotterdam so it skews the figures.

No idea pal. Would be surprised to see Holland up there as not sure apart from flowers what we actually import? Drugs obviously but that won’t be in the figures 😁

Tomatoes, bulbs, plants.

Not sure what manufacturing they specialise in.

As for Germany, I reckon read VW, Audio, Mercedes etc. Driving along the other day and so many german cars.
