We’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she’s just a bit thick and doesn’t just think they all look the same. I don’t think she has any plans to be deputy leader. Actually, looking at other parties, she could well do. Hope you didn’t waste too much time searching her history.👍 Quote
Duck Egg Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 I was surprised at Rayner ruling out ever rejoining the EU. Surely its got to be worth future consideration if we're still not seeing any of the benefits say, 2 parliaments on? That's if they'd have us back! Quote

Walkden and Little Hulton added this time round. Anything could happen with the Mancs added.😊 Edit. Daubhill removed from last time. Not sure if that will have an effect🤷♂️ Edited June 14, 2024 by BobyBrno Quote

They wouldn't open that can of worms up when they've got an open goal - it may get brought up a few years into their tenure, but to do so now probably wouldn't see a dramatic change/increase in their support, so no point. I do think one of the "big" parties will mention it next time around though, and it'll probably be Labour....but of course that does depend what the EU looks like in 3 or 4 years time. Some would have us believe it's going to become more right wing, if so, even the Tory Party might want back in 😁 Edited June 14, 2024 by Sweep Quote

Opened the door for Farage. Which has also been the case in plenty of European nations. Spot on jacket, on the boats and a more reasoned view on Net Zero and he’d have walked it. Everybody accepts climate change and a need to move to renewables but we’re going far too quickly. I don’t particularly want to leave the ECHR but just a real threat to do it if negotiations to amend aren’t possible would have been better. Too late now I think? Quote

Tell you what, here’s a one time offer. I’ll spend an entire minute of my time searching her views on any particular topics you might be interested in. Wouldn’t want you wasting your vote now would we? Quote

It’s what’s gone on since that’s done for the Tories. It’s also done for many other governments around the world. Corbyn. A landslide because of the alternative, rather than the quality of the incoming government. Just like 2024. Quote

Its bullshit Maybe having a party led by Braverman, Jenrick and Patel wouldve kept Farage down, but there just arent enough racists to elect such a party The reason the tories arent getting back in is because theyre shit and too many out for themselves and their own, with no idea what theyre doing A talentless puddle to fish from has led to this and theyve lost folk who have spent a lifetime voting for em, plenty to Labour ive said it many times, they need wiping out this time and maybe the good ones can start again with a refreshed party This lot are unelectable The boats....the fucking boats 10% of total immigration?
