It's so strange how we can look at the same world but see two completely alternate realities? 😁

Although I agree that some people will always remain entrenched. Even Bolty has said there's literally nothing the Labour party could ever do to change his mind. So it's the equivalent of trying to talk to a religious person with blind faith. Literally nothing will ever change their mind - which makes arguing pointless. Sorry if I'm misquoting you here Bolty - but that's what I think you said.

I'm the same with this government as I am with all new governments. Clean slate - making a judgment as I go and wishing them every success until they've proved their not worthy of the office.

The winter fuel payment is something that we could debate - as I'm still undecided. But I've been broadly supportive of everything else what they've attempted so far (that I've heard about).

The winter fuel was a political decision, right decision IMO but the entry point is too low. The freebies, especially the clothing is a political cock up. You can not talk about change and being clean then as your defence turn round and say 'ah but they were naughtier.'

The idea that the media is left wing is nonsense made up by people who do not like Labour. BBC has led this week on the PMs expenses as they did when Boris was taking the piss.

To be clear, these expenses are from before he was PM as leader of the opposition. It's a strange setup as now he doesn't even have to submit them.

It's silly and a bit of a non story but the mail etc al have jumped on it meaning it's grown legs.

He should have known better imo.

Yep, he should have expected it as the Tory press are looking for anything. He gave them some easy ammunition.

100% disagree. The evidence is there but some choose not to see it.

You think the Daily Mail , Telegraph and Sun are left wing ?

Mail lean centre right, Telegraph marginally right, Sun opportunists who back whoever they think will win the next GE.

Only my opinion of course. I am sure yours is different.

Head in the sand job when it comes to the Biased British Commies.

Where does Bolty get his impartial news then?

Got stuck in a hole with clips from them the other day.

It's just got to be parody.

From the 1970s.

Just FYI, haven't had that news station on since before the GE. Still, better to let illusions continue.

Entertains dolts and trolls.

There is little impartial news anywhere these days. I am finding more and more sympathy with those who claim they never watch it for various reasons.

These (rather good) left leaning fuckers may have been on to something....

I was flicking through the news channels the other day, and I came across Fox News. They are proper bonkers, it really is like a pisstake, rather than a "serious" channel.

More Tory press! Tsk. I remember when only Daily Mail readers were ‘outraged’😉

You get another go in 5 years.

For now, relax, and try not to let it boil your piss too much.

Boris and co. were perfect and will be missed.

It took the Tories 14 years, a COVID pandemic and war in Europe to become unpopular. It’s taken Labour 2 months and a pensioners rebellion to achieve the same. 😉

They were still popular with some, the same as the Labour Party are with some at present. The good news, is it they're shit, then we can get rid in five years time. They've still got an awful long way to go to be as bad as the last lot I reckon

They’re only unpopular amongst teeth clenching Tories so far as I can tell.

I thought the right were more practical types who just got on with it, stuff upper lip and no fuss?

They all sound like remoaners at the minute 🥰

My link was from the Mirror and Owen Jones. Teeth clenching Tories to a man (and woman and none specific gender) keep the piss boiling. 👍
