Thank you and more importantly the majority who voted on 23rd May feel the same way.

Whoever there were!

I have nowt to come back with but blah blah blah, we won, you lost, tough shit

:)

Nowt to come back with,  is that a joke as I’ve debated more than most.

But at the end of the day all that matters is we voted to leave.

Not now; what matters is getting it through the forces of fear and conservatism.

I expect it will just maintain or develop the current polarisation; if you like him/them, then you will him/them more and vice versa.

I can't stand the bloke but he states the bleeding obvious. I would love someone to give a decent rebuttal to the points he raised in that clip.

I watched it and it is based on a world view that may or may not be correct.

He, as befits such a massive ego, puts out hypotheses as facts, when they are opinions, speculations about the future.

Opinions which may prove to be correct, or not.

Even if they do, it doesn’t necessarily mean that remaining in the (failing) EU is the answer.

Indeed, which came first; his world view or his overwhelming view that we must stay in the EU? Thanks

As ever with Tony Blair, I am biased, I think he is the most despicable, dishonest politician of my lifetime.

It seems a bit hypocritical that you criticise those who "put out hypothesis as facts, when they are opinions, speculation about the future" and give "opinions which may prove to be correct, or not".

Yet, in your very next sentence, you refer to the EU as failing. That is hypothesis stated by you to be a fact. It is speculation about the future. It is your opinion, which may prove correct or not.

Wow hang on a minute. He's an expert. Only remainers are allowed to quote experts. You're overstepping the mark here. 🙂

To be fair Leavers dismiss expert opinions when it suits.

The ultimate conman

Extract from Charlie Speddings' autobiography re his time at Durham Cathedral School:

"I continued my enjoyment of football by playing in the school yard every break time and often after school as well. One of the lads I played with was a boy called Tony Blair. I don't recall his skill with the ball, but I do remember his ability to make up rules of the game to suit his team's situation. …. I should have realised he was destined for a life in politics."

We all have opinions!

I would add that the EU clearly isn’t working for all, such as Greece and Italy, so opinion, yes, but facts as well.
