Wasn’t yougov owned by Nadim Zaharwi?

Sold his shares a couple of years ago and 'forgot' to pay £5m tax.

Yet a 3 grand 'potential' CGT avoidance misnomer that has been investigated already is headline news for days on end.

Seems that way, doesn't it?

So he sold the shares for approx £26m in 2018 and forgot to pay the £5m due.

The Guardian called him out for it in 2022 and he claimed they were smearing his name by telling lies.

In 2023, he paid the £5m after realising that he'd actually made a careless mistake doing his tax returns in 2018.

Sounds like you are not convinced he’s being truthful here on his forgetfulness

Really?

Well, he was the Chancellor, so I assumed he was on the ball with his numbers.

Lots of strangely one sided comments about dodgy mps.

So let's look at the numbers as a whole.

18 have lost the whip from their parties since the last election.

One was suspended following a conviction that was later overturned on appeal, but he's still waiting for the whip to be returned.

7 of the 18 were labour mps.

8 were Conservative, with Bob Stewart waiting to get the whip back.

1 DUP

1 Plaid Cymru

1 SNP

Now then, given the considerably larger number of Conservative mps than Labour ones, it is categoric that Labour has the largest (%) discipline problem, irrespective of what is posted/trumpeted/reported.

Rest assured, this data was published by the Guardian on the 18th April.

Any changes since clearly aren't represented.

What where those whips removed for would be a more pertinent question imo.

Just listened to Kwasi Kwarteng on 'The Rest is Politics' podcast. He basically spent the entire episode saying the quiet part out loud - admitting that he and his Conservative colleagues will say anything whatsoever to stay in power, even if they know the things they say aren't true. An absolute moral vacuum.

Even Diver finally gave up trying to defend them, and he LOVES the Tories.

Its actually embarrassing

No, it's factual.

You have nothing to worry about anyway. The reds will win, probably by a landslide. Curious to hear some commentators saying 'could be a hung Parliament'. Not sure what kind of barometer they are using but it is clearly fucked.

Ive honestly never read such utter cack

Over emotional tantrums like this are typical.

You want this lot out as do many others and I understand why. No need to vent.

Stay calm and feel smug when the full GE results are known. Then start to whinge like fuck 6 months later.

A proper MP.

I'd wager she wouldn't have had a chance of being one of the two. Just needs a short back and sides to go with the screech.

All that highlights is how piss weak voter ID fraud investigations are.
